In February 4602, Malivian Elite Forces paradropped in government controlled territory and took back a line to reunited the separated rebel regions. This was done through Malivian MIS's cutting of communication before the attack, with very few casualties on both sides.
In the same month, but before the Malivian attack, Lt Gen. Miranda Lippstadt was assassinated, no one truly knows who, but the NRF have made her martyr for their cause and with confidence accuses the NSMC for this assassination, the Deputy Chairman of the NSMC, Louise von Bratt have responded to the accusation with this comment: "The NSMC had no desire to end Lt Gen. Miranda Lippstadt during the war, but instead out of respect of the former NSMC member (Miranda Lippstadt), she together with Lt Gen. Ludwig Fort was going to be publicly executed in a humane way". NSMC members have instead accused high officials in the NRF to have killed her themselves to make her a martyr.
Dictator August Reinhardt have taken the opportunity of her death to launch a powerful assault at Vordisi with 102,000 soldiers from 5 different armies, with out the 1st Rebel Army having a clear commander.
While the battle of Vordisi is taking place the 17,000 strong 5th Army led by Maj Gen. Oskar Hartenstein have attacked the Malivian line, south of Qorqal, with a 6,000 strong civilian militia attacking from the north of the line. The Rebel and Malivian forces there is under heavy bombardment from the Kivonian Air Force.
In 28 of October 4601, the 2nd Battle of Tezdaryo started with the assault from the Holy Ordered Church of a 30,000 strong force led by High Marshall Alexander Ross, aided by the newly arrived 4,000 strong Kivonian force led by Brig Gen. Hermann Feldstadt. Tezdaryo is defended by the new leader of the NRF, Lt Gen. Frederick Einstag and his 21,000 strong 3rd Rebel Army.
The Order of the Dark Bull has successfully secured lines for communication and supplies to the government controlled territory around the city of Varrato.
