Whilst the government debated the sentiment of conflict with Dankuk, preparations were made prior to the commencing of hostilities through Operation Falcon. Reservists had been called in since the artillery strike as General Prestegard assumed that through the attack the possibility of Kazulia and Dankuk going to war was evident. Coordinated alongside Operation Falcon, at 0410 hours the attack message: Climb Mount Haedong was transmitted commencing Operation Ghost Train. Some 200,000 troops which had been mustered due to the call up of reservists were plunged across the border, spearheaded by a combined armoured and mechanised assault. Operation Ghost Train according to statement from Defence Command commenced a major escalation in the conflict aimed at removing the regime within Dankuk. According to statements from the Department of Defence, Operation Ghost Train was a simultaneous, surprise blitz of the Dankukin border. Signals intelligence brigades flooded Dankukin radio intercepting technologies with apparently false claims that planned Kazulian invasion could come through amphibious landings in the north and an airborne insertion to the north-east pits of the peninsula state. Satellite imagery had confirmed that troop movements had suggested that the falsified intelligence had been taken literally by Dankukin commanders and thus large numbers of troops originally positioned at the border were reorganised and move to prepare for whether they believe the Kazulian invasions would occur.

As Operation Falcon entered its initial hours, the 1st Kombinertstyrkekorps of the Kazulian Army crossed over the Dankukin Border and imagine locked horns with the remaining Dankukin troops stationed at the border. With speed in mind, Kazulian armoured and mechanised brigades hooked right and swung into western Dankukin border provinces. Whilst the total strength of the Kazulian Army had not been mustered even though the call to arms was made prior to the commencing of operations, the Home Guard supported the Army's initial advance. With air superiority within the lands of the Air-Force, an intense period of bombing occurred prior to the invasion. According to officials from Joint Forces Command, the airstrikes conducted by the Air-Force were mainly concentrated on preventing retreating divisions from reaching the rear units as apart of Phase 3 of Operation Falcon. General Prestegard told officials from the media that he intends on being on the battlefield commanding the invasion from the ground as he called the invasion a mission of vengeance for Kazulian people after considerable provocation by the Dankukin regime.

According to reports from Joint Forces Command, the Kazulian Armed Forces launched a simultaneous assault front three positions. An amphibious invasion launched by the 10th Mechanised Infantry Division, the 1st Amphibious Infantry Brigade and the 2nd Amphibious Infantry Brigade on the western coastline of the province of Eljang. Whilst the amphibious invasion was launched, an airborne assault had been launched by the five airborne brigades. Clashes in the cities of Dangmyo and Port Rhynach are currently on-going with many defence analysts confirming that these clashes will end in an unconditional defeat to the Imperial Dankukin Army in the two cities, as the Royal Kazulian Air-Force are conducting airstrikes on sorties throughout the country as they exercise their reign in air superiority. It is expected that these assaults are to be reinforced by reservists to maintain the momentum of the invasion. General Prestegard stated that with the use of Auftragstaktik stated that the invasion will follow the principles of the doctrine, including a great emphasis on speed.

Similar to Operation Soul Rebel from the War for the Emperor's Protection, Operation Silent Eagle is aimed at securing the southern country side of Dankuk. According to the Joint Forces Command, the Kazulian Army was currently pushing around 10 divisions into the nation and according to reports, clashes are still ongoing. It was stated by officials from Defence Command that once the Kazulian Army secured the northern country side, reinforcements will be sent as the 200,000 reserves of the Kazulian Army prepare for mass mobilisation. The current efforts of the Kazulian Army will be reinforced by the Royal Kazulian Air Force who are expected to conduct a series of combined arms roles, most important ensuring the air superiority achieved is kept and conducting close-air-support missions.

The Dankuk Imperial Army has established a defensive line just north of the major Kazulian offensive, in an attempt to create a buffer zone between the southern offensive front and the capital city. The defensive line, located at its nearest point five hundred kilometers from the capital, is made up mostly of infantry units in dig in positions. In these dug out positions, around 440,000 active duty soldiers and 1 million reservists have taken up defensive positions against any Kazulian assault. A further 20,000 active duty soldiers and 900,000 reservists are performing other tasks, such as creating a safe evacuation funnel for soldiers south of the defensive line. Around 25,000 soldiers remain south of the defensive line but are being evacuated north. According to the Ministry of Defense, which has initiated martial law throughout Dankuk, the defensive line will be the most defended point in Dankuk will be defended at all costs.

The defensive line will consist of four sectors, which will be given the task of stopping the Kazulian offensives, with each sector having 18 divisions, with 10 mechanized infantry divisions, 1 cavalry division, 2 armored divisions, 3 artillery divisions, 1 security division, and 1 logistical support division. A further 46 are being held in reserve and can be deployed if need be. Alongside those, several ships have been stationed near the defensive line to prevent further amphibious invasions.

Whilst a draft has not been implemented yet, the Ministry of Defense has considered it as an option and has called on Dankuk citizens to prepare themselves for such a situation. If a draft where to be implemented, 12 million men could be sent to the frontline.

What remains of the Dankuk Air Force and anti-Air systems have been stationed on the defensive line. They’ve also been deployed with rapid response engineers, who have the task of building temporary living and military facilities. These military facilities will include forward operating facilities, sleeping quarters, bunkers, and logistical warehouses.

The Joint Forces Command announced that the Kazulian Army, through the efforts of the 10 Divisions initially sent into the country, had secured the southern countryside of Dankuk, thus forcing to the Dankukin Imperial Armed Forces to form a defensive line on the border north of Eljang and Reunii . With the southern countryside secure, Defence Command ordered for seven (7) divisions to continue their push, leaving around three (3) divisions to completely sweep the region for resistance pockets and to ensure an unexpected enemy counter-offensive is derailed immediately. According to statements from intelligence officials, the provinces north of Eljang and Reunii were heavily defended with some 800,000+ troops prepared to repel a potential offensive by the Kazulian Armed Forces into the territories. The efforts of the 10th Mechanised Infantry Division, the 1st Amphibious Infantry Brigade and the 2nd Amphibious Infantry Brigade have been reinforced by the 2nd Territorial Division of the Home Guard, who have been called to participate in the forward offensive as the KAF encounters increased Dankukin divisions. According to statements from th Joint Forces Command, the retreat of Imperial Dankukin forces to the northern border regions behind the defensive line enabled them to drive deep into Eljang and Reunii. The Department of Defence announced the mobilisation of all reservists of the Home Guard. With the momentum of the initial force slowing down, the Department of Defence has decided to reinforce said force with reservists. There are estimated to be around one hundred thousand (100,000) reservists of the Home Guard currently being deployed to the battlefield in Dankuk, thus bringing the number of Kazulian Armed Forces military personnel to around three hundred thousand (300,000). Currently the Joint Forces Command has already integrated some reserves into a series of operations to come in the future.

Focusing on the airborne assault launched previously, Joint Forces Command had confirmed that this airborne assault had been derailed and the brigades involved were ordered to immediately withdraw. The reason for the withdrawal is currently unknown, however sources within the Office of the Chief of Defence stated that General Prestegard thought that an airborne assault of an area with a high concentration of enemy units would be extremely risky. Sadly, reports were confirmed by the Defence Intelligence and Security Organisation that of the five brigades deployed around four had returned to friendly lines, leading to the conclusion that one of the airborne brigades deployed had been wiped. On a separate note, it had been reported that five (5) artillery battalions were preparing to commence joint artillery strikes against the defensive line established north of Eljang and Reunii, in collaboration with the Air-force and the Navy. It is not known as to when the strikes will commence or where the strikes will be targeted however certain individuals have highlighted that knowing the Kazulian Armed Forces' tactics, it will strike the defensive positions with various ammunition. International discord has generated out of the conflict recently after various nations have called for an immediate ceasefire. Officials from the Joint Forces Command refused to comment on the premise of meeting with the Dankukin regime for a ceasefire, as it was announced that the order would have to either come from the Monarch, the Prime Minister, the Defence Minister or the Chief of the Defence. With the three former stating that they had put the decision into the hands of General Prestegard, it is unclear whether Prestegard will call for an immediate ceasefire.

Around 0800 this morning, against a background of the Dankukin Defensive Line, General Tormond Prestegard announced a halt in the Kazulian Army's advance into Dankuk. Joint Forces Command announced that the Kazulian Armed Forces was within striking distance of the defensive Line and was in the process of preparing assets for a harder push into the heartland when General Prestegard ordered the halt in the advance. It has been reported by Ddankukin state media that Army Groups A and B had retreated to positions behind the defensive Line in anticipation for continued operations by the Kazulian Armed Forces, thus leaving the southern sectors of the country to be carved up by the advancing Kazulian Armed Forces. Joint Forces Command stated that the Kazulian Armed Forces had achieved its objectives, however most of its secondary objectives had not been met.

In the streets of Skalm, thousands of citizens have gathered to rejoice the quasi-end of the conflict which had resulted in a decisive Kazulian victory. Hundreds of thousands of Kazulians, flocked to the Ministry of Defence to greet Chief of Defence General Tormond Prestegard, who had returned from the battlefield to discuss the conclusion of the conflict with the Prime Minister. Sivertsen, although Prime Minister and the second most important individual in the country, said that this day was the day of the Defence Forces and those who sacrificed dearly to ensure the survival of the nation and that those who were killed during the conflict, were avenged through an invasion of the Dankukin homeland.Queen Ingrid, announced her intention to propose a Royal Decree which would mark this day "Sigr (Victory)" to remember the efforts made by the people in ensuring the nation's survival.

Prime Minister Kenneth Sivertsen announced that he had ordered diplomatic missions of Kazulia across terra to announce the nation's intention for a ceasefire. He stated that he intends on personally going to the World Congress to announce his government's intention for a formal ceasefire and hopefully a peace agreement with the Dankukin Government. Currently the army is gathering equipment left by the retreating Dankukin forces to be placed in reserve and possibly in museums. General Prestegard said:
This nation has showed the international community that we are more than capable of ensuring our nation's defence against any and all external and internal threats. Our nation bares the mark of a nation that has shown the world, that it is capable of doing more than just defending its interests. On the prospect of a ceasefire,
I am awaiting a communique from the Dankukin Government on agreeing to the ceasefire.

With the conflict quasi-concluded, the Kingdom of Kazulia walks away with large sums of Dankukin land, including the province of Eljang and Reunii. It is hoped that the proposed peace process in Rodshyadam, Trigunia will pave the way for peace within the region.
