Summary:
The Beiteynuese Lourennais Tensions (BLT), or otherwise known as the "Hubris War", refers to a period of the 55th century when Beiteynu and Lourenne, after being long-time friends and allies, engaged in wartime in the Sea of Lost Souls (Southeast Majatra / Southwest Seleya); tumbling the world into a global crisis.
Tied by an intricate web of Canrillaise-Yeudish relations, they had entered into one of the world's most pivotal alliances on an unprecedented geopolitical alignment stemming from their mutual interests in the continent of Seleya, as well as the growing anti-Dorvish sentiment across the world.
So how did both go from reshaping Terra together for the greater good, to destroying Terra, so fast?
Beiteynuese "meddling" across the world had eventually resulted into the "B&L Divorce", as Lourenne could no longer "look the other way" after Dorvik's withdrawal from international affairs; with so much peace, prosperity and stability, Yeudish shenanigans began echoing in the halls of justice.
When Lourennais intelligence assassinated the Yeudi Monarch, leaving no definitive proof behind, Yishelem cut its intelligence ties with Eroncourt. And when Beiteynu also announced a new Seleyan policy in the process, Lourenne immediately reacted. And then Beiteynu reacted.
Circling back to why they had aligned in the first place, now sitting at odds with each other, over the exact same thing.
