The Government of Aldegar is facing some slight budgetary difficulties and wishes to ask for a loan to help service our debts and maintain our much admired welfare state. We seek a loan of 40 billion LOD to paid out over the next five years at the reasonable interest rate of 1.5% and to be paid out over the next five years. Over that period, we pledge to reduce the annual budget deficit currently at 6.75% of GDP radically to...6.50% of GDP; a most painful austerity program for us.

The new Aldegarian Government has decided not to seek this loan. We feel it would be too much of an infringement on our national sovereignty and will do it the old fashioned way - cutting spending and aiming for a balanced budget in five years. We thank you for your time.
