The Caltropic Lakes Coordination and Development Organization (CLCDO) is a regional organization in Dovani, named after the lake that is shared by New Verham, Ostland, Liore, Midway, Bianjie, and Mina. It is primarily an economic and diplomatic organization, committed to fostering mutually beneficial trade and increasing diplomatic integration among all member states, regardless of political system or structure of government. The CLCDO is committed to peaceful cooperation and development, and maintaining the stability and goodwill of Central Dovani.

It is headquartered in Zuiderfoort, capital of the Verhamelen Republic, within New Verham.

Esteemed members of this General Assembly, on behalf of all states of the organization, we welcome you all to the first inaugural session of the Caltropic Lakes Coordination and Development Organization. Our first session shall be regarding the establishment of a formal working currency for the CLCDO, as outlined in initial talks among our three nations. I welcome fruitful discussion on this matter, building upon our initial desires to establish such a policy during our foundational talks some time ago in this very city.

Legshey Sambhota, Xsampan Representative to the CLCDO

Esteemed members of the General Assembly, speaking on behalf of Xsampa, I would like to take the moment to express the gratitude of this opportunity for cooperation between all our great nations. Now onto the manner at hand. That being the question of a proper working currency for CLCDO.

To start off, I understand both the reasons for and against a shared currency, and as the representative for Xsampa, I find myself in a unique spot due to the nature of how the Xsampan state works economically. I have no doubt a shared currency will be established, there is zero doubt there. However, I would like to be among the first of equals to advocate for this shared currency of the CLCDO to be voluntary. Recognizing the current economic structure of Xsampa, I believe that making this currency voluntary will not only foster a sense of trust and support for member states of CLCDO, but allow flexibility for member states, both present and future in a similar situation to Xsampa.

Esteemed members of this General Assembly, speaking on behalf of New Verham, hear the concerns raised by our fellow representatives in Xsampa and welcome such discussion. As we in our own nation have just recently welcomed ourselves among the family of nations in the community of the West Dovani Union, we likewise had similar opinions regarding the Dovanian Circus. We asserted a policy of rejecting the common currency and retaining the guilder; we feel it is the same case here. We therefore share the opinion of the representative from Xsampa in advocating for a voluntary adoption of a common currency among CLCDO members.

Silvija Bartulović, Stratican Representive to the CLCDO

Esteemed members of the General Assembly, speaking on behalf of Stratica, I would like to share our own idea for a common shared currency as we also believe that said currency shouldn't be mandatory on an internal level bur rather on an external one. Due to the socialist nature of the economic systems in both Stratica and Xsampa, we would like to suggest making the future currency mandatory for external trades between CLCDO members and the rest of terra alongside trades between CLCDO members themselves as in order to give this currency any sort of power and legitimacy we must make sure it is used on international level but nonetheless Stratica will adopt the potential currency on both national and international levels as our current one is extremely weak and a boost in our citizen's custom power will help us develop the country to new heights.
