TRIGUNIA LAUNCHES ITS OWN SECURITY COUNCIL CAMPAIGN
Today, on the initiative the government, the Trigunian Empire has decided to launch its own campaign for seat D on the Security Council. It shall be led by former Ambassador to Kalistan, and now Director of the Department of Seleya, Arseniy Denisov. He has published a statement regarding the campaign:

We have launched our own campaign for seat D on the Security Council, and we will only highlight the points supporting why we need to be elected, and not "mud-sling" at other nations, like so many other nations do. We will hold a clean campaign only supporting our cause, and our friends', and not putting other nations in the bad light.

Mr Denisov is planning to visit a number of countries, including Kalistan and Vanuku, and shall support all clean campaigns around Terra.

DENISOV VISITS VANUKU
Mr Denisov has visited Vanuku and is now in talks with Prefect Ashur and other ministers. This visit is to improve relations between Vanuku and Trigunia, especially regarding the nominations for the seats on the Security Council. As Trigunia has already nominated Vanuku for seat B, Trigunia wishes that Vanuku will nominate them for seat D.

VANUKU WITHOUT FUNCTIONING GOVERNMENT
The Vanukean government has stopped functioning and Arseniy Denisov has left the kingdom without any results. It is said that Mr Denisov is planning to visit Kalistan and improve relations between the two countries, and persuade Kalistan to nominate Trigunia for seat D, however, these are just rumors and no official statements about this matter have been released, but this is highly likely.

DENISOV IS PLANNING TO VISIT KALISTAN
To improve relations and persuade Kalistan to vote for Trigunia in the upcoming Security Council election, Arseniy Denisov is planning to visit Kalistan and talk with President Rowan Phillips. He is also planning to visit the Delic brothers of Trigunia, Deltaria and Valruzia.

The Vanukean government, specifically Prefect Ashur, was not happy about the statement from the Trigunian government. He took it up himself to address the named issues with a down to earth talk on national television. "It is odd to state that we are not functioning, our nation is flourishing. During their visit here the Trigunians gave us no time to respond to their request. For us altering a seat nomination is a delicate issue and we have to weigh out the pro's and cons and discuss with many people. To simply expect us to swing a different direction after a few hours is quite unorthodox. Of course there are no hard feelings, they have many nations to visit during their campaign so I get that they are in quite a rush. Nonetheless, it is rather fruitless to leave without any results." said Prefect Ashur to the host of the interview. There was some more discussion about what the Vanukean host nation could have done better and even Ashur admitted his own faults. "We left them in the dark, I'll admit that, communication was bad all around. It is sad it went like this but we can not dwell on the past as my late father used to say. We have to step on and see if we can fix this. Therefore I urge the Trigunians to return and let us talk once more, let us try to solve this. Let us see if we all can leave the room happy this time." So far the Trigunian state has not responded to the invitation.

DENISOV ASKS FOR FORGIVENESS
Arseniy Denisov has asked the Vanukaean governemtn for forgiveness about his statements and has embarked to Vanuku. He will begin talks once more and hopefully they will be successful. As planned, they will talk about relations and the Security Council election.

Talks have restarted and both parties seem satisfied so far. The Vanukean government is willing to support Trigunia but has raised concerns about how fruitful it is for Trigunia to still campaign. "With 2 votes they are far behind Hutori who I believe have around 18 votes. With only a few years remaining you simply can not catch up. We are of course willing to support them as long as they realize they can not win this time around."

DENISOV HAPPY YET UNDERSTANDS HOPELESSNESS OF CURRENT SITUATION
Arseniy Denisov has been seen looking very happy but has commented that he understands that "the current situation for winning this campaign is hopeless, but we wish to muster up support, so next election Trigunia will secure their seat on the Security Council". He has also noted that mutual cooperation between the two powerful monarchical countries, Trigunia and Vanuku, will secure peace all around Terra. Because of this, Denisov, under orders from Countess Efremova, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Trigunia, has asked Prefect Ashur about concluding an alliance and a free-trade agreement.

Vanukeans offer compromise
A new monarchist alliance to flourish?

After another day of talks the two nations of Trigunia and Vanuku are becoming closer. The ongoing talks have greatly boosted the relations between the two nations and the Trigunians have put forward a proposal to ratify a formal alliance, something the Vanukean government so far seems very eager to accept. "It is always good when monarchist nations band together on the world stage, a century ago our two nations fought eachother in the Great War, now we are talking about becoming two strong allies, it is truly a great time for world peace" said Prefect Ashur in a statement after leaving the talks. The Prefect was also very happy that the Trigunians realize they cannot win the current Security Council elections. The Vanukean delegation have put forward a proposal to offer full support and a joint-campaign for the next elections and instead of supporting them now they have requested the Trigunians to join their campaign. "Vanuku still has a shot at winning, Trigunia has not, but we will make sure to help them win the next elections, we just need their help for a last push for this round. We don't really want the runner up seat, we want Seat B." said a spokesperson of the Vanukean delegation.

All in all it seems that the two nations will form an alliance and if Trigunia accepts then next elections Vanuku and Trigunia will campaign together for their respective B and D seats.

TRIGUNIA ACCEPT VANUKEAN PROPOSALS
The Trigunian delegation has accepted all Vanukean proposals and hopes that the alliance will be concluded soon. The Trigunian government is also very happy and is ready to work with Vanuku to campaign for the next Security Council elections. We all hope that this alliance will be a strong bond between our great nations and that it will bring mutual benefit not only to Trigunia and Vanuku, but also all nations around Terra.
