NOWOGARD - Valruzia is seeking to become a non-permanent member of the World Congress' Security Council. Valruzian Minister for Foreign Affairs (MFA) Jan Vaughn-Rosta announced the country's candidacy in Nowogard during a press conference called in the Nowogard-Ignanski Congressional Center. This is an absolute overhaul of Nowogard's stance on the Security Council which for years questioned the jurisdiction of the World Congress' Security Council and refused to take part in SC elections as both, a candidate and a voting country. Now, Nowogard wants to change this policy and announced that Nowogard will seek to become a member of the Security Council.

Image

Vaughn-Rosta highlights the fact that, apart from Keris, Seleya is the only continent without representation in the Security Council. More than 900 million people are not represented in an institution that is often seen as the supreme consultative and sometimes the executive body of the World Congress. MFA confirmed that Valruzia's candidature should be seen as a demonstration of political and diplomatic will to make an active contribution to peace and security in the face of all challenges the Security Council has to address. Valruzia throughout the last centuries grew to become the strongest economy in Seleya and become an important partner in international trade as well as the international political scene. It is often described as an economic powerhouse of Seleya and thanks to major investments, both domestic and international managed to outgrew any other country in Seleya in terms of nominal GDP as well as GDP growth rate. Valruzia never served as a member of the Security Council, former governments several times launched campaign and bids for a seat in SC for Nowogard but with no luck and often those campaigns were dropped after lack of initial interest.

Image

Speaking at Ignanski Congressional Center during a conference on international affairs, MFS Vaughn-Rosta emphasized the significance of the World Congress' Security Council but also highlighted the fact that many countries support Valruzian initiatives and ideas of reforming the World Congress by establishing specialized organizations and agencies which would greatly improve the overall performance of the WC as currently most actions to combat threat for international security is taken ad hoc by either the General Assembly or the Security Council. Prime Minister Vinciguerra announced that her intention during the First Summit of the Eight Economies, which will take place next year in Eroncourt, is to exactly point out the weaknesses of the World Congress in the current shape and to highlight the need for reformation. According to Vaughn-Rosta, Nowogard's presence in the Security Council would not only mean better representation for the Seleyan continent but greater possibilities for improving the overall performance of the World Congress.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Jan Vaughn-Rosta said that international security is especially important for Valruzia, as according to MFA Valruzia is a country that maintains close and extensive economic, political and social ties with the global community, Valruzia is particularly reliant on a functioning, peaceful and rules-based international order.

NOWOGARD - Valruzian Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented the official logo of the government's campaign to promote Valruzia as a responsible candidate for the Security Council of the World Congress. During a short press conference, Minister Jan Vaughh-Rosta also presented the 4 main ideas of the government campaign:

PEACE: In a world that is "out of joint", the international community is called on more than before to work together to address conventional and new security challenges. Valruzia is a reliable partner in this endeavor. Valruzia has been contributing personnel and funds to various peace and humanitarian missions. Conflict prevention, stabilization, post-conflict peacebuilding, and arms control are among the pillars of our foreign policy.

Image

JUSTICE: Valruzia is committed to a functioning, values-based global order. Human rights are the foundation of our global coexistence. Gender equality and the self-determination of all women and girls, social inclusion as well as economic, social, and cultural rights are among the fundamental values which we stand up for around Terra every day.

Image

INNOVATION: One of our main concerns is climate policy. The legally binding climate agreement must be negotiated to protect the future of our planet. We are committed to developing more sustainable power energy sources that are less harmful to the global environment. Equality and high-quality education for all children and young people are another of our top priorities. These are issues which, at first glance, may not appear to be relevant to security but which are key to peaceful and free societies. For there can be no security without access to education, water, food, or without a healthy environment.

Image

PARTNERSHIP: Valruzia is a global partner. To us, partnership means working with other nations on an equal footing. We want to learn and we want to make our experience available to serve development. We, therefore, see development policy as an investment in the future: development policy means creating structures, sharing knowledge and ideas, and helping people to help themselves. Valruzia wants and is able to help to give the world a more human face. This includes treating refugees justly and humanely.

NOWOGARD - Valruzian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jan Vaughn-Rosta confirmed that Nowogard strongly opposes potential military intervention in Bianjie, and that Valruzia will bring a draft of the resolution number 83 that, according to Nowogard, is questionable in terms of its legality to a thorough discussion in the General Assembly of the World Congress. Distancing itself from current members of the Security Council, the Valruzian Government ended all doubts about its position on a possible World Congress resolution authorizing a forceful intervention against the government of Bianjie and asserted that it would definitely by any means possible oppose actions taken on the basis of loose assumptions and allegations. The Minister for Foreign Affairs made the declaration at a conference held at MFA's headquarters in Nowogard.

Image

In the speech, Vaughn-Rosta said that the government will closely monitor any further action taken by the Security Council and that legislative office of the Ministry prepared an opinion according to which the proposed "security council action" is illegal and raises concerns about the and gives rise to suspicions of potential misconduct and violations of international law by members of the Security Council. Until now, the Government in Nowogard had not spoken out against a possible SC resolution. Instead, the Government focused on its campaign for the Seat C in the Security Council as it has a real chance to gather sufficient amount of votes to replace Indrala in Seat C. However, now Viciguerra's cabinet for the first time spoken out so clearly against planned actions of the Security Council which in eyes of Nowogard is trying hard to violate the principles of international law by hiding behind the exhaustion of diplomatic means of resolving the situation in Bianjie, which according to Nowogard is not true, and the Security Council and its members themselves have not taken any more or less coordinated diplomatic action to resolve the crisis in Central Dovani country.

Image

At the same time, Minister Vaughn-Rosta stressed that he condemned the government's actions in Gemun and was watching closely the ever-evolving situation in Bianje and stressed his willingness to assist in peaceful solutions to the crisis caused by the government, which, according to Novgorod, has lost its mandate and is an unreliable partner in international negotiations, but this in no way legitimizes the planned operation shrouded in "need to control the situation". Nowgoard stresses that in order to control the truthfulness of the government's reports in Gemun, there is no need for an international resolution, and an inter-state committee without a mandate from the SC would be sufficient. Finally, the Minister pointed out that Nowogard, despite its opposition to the escalation of tensions on the Dovani continent, is ready to support the World Congress and the people of Bianjie in the form of humanitarian operations aimed at guaranteeing the safety of civilians and preventing a potential humanitarian catastrophe that could result from a further escalation of the crisis.

Foreign Ministers of Alduria, Baltusia, Gaduridos, Likatonia, Rildanor, Tukarali, and Valruzia met at Council of Seleya's Headquarters in Nowogard for an annual meeting.

At the annual meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Council from Seleya, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Valruzia, Jan Vaughn-Rosta, made an appeal to the Federal Government of the Federal Republic of Likatonia to support Valruzian Government's campaign to elect Valruzia as a member of the Security Council of the World Congress. The Foreign Ministers of the Council of Seleya (CoS) met at the annual meeting of the Ministerial Assembly - the sole body of the CoS - to discuss the most relevant issues concerning diplomatic relations, security, and the human rights situation in Seleya. Diplomatic tensions between the governments in Nowogard and Clovisport in recent years have become increasingly evident and have become troublesome from the point of view of the international policy of the government in Nowogard, which is seeking to elect a non-permanent member of the World Congress Security Council.

Diplomatic tensions between the governments in Nowogard and Clovisport in recent years have become increasingly evident and have become troublesome from the point of view of the international policy of the government in Nowogard, which is seeking to elect Valruzia for a non-permanent member of the World Congress Security Council. In recent years, the rivalry between the governments in Nowogard and Clovisport has moved to the election of non-permanent SC members, where the efforts of both countries are similar. This is a thorn in Nowogard's government's side, which in its election as a non-permanent member of the SC is looking for an opportunity for a profound reform of the World Congress and the growing support for Likatonia even within the ranks of the Seleyan Union member states may be an impediment to the impassable passage of Valruzian diplomats.

Image

The government in Nowogard is campaigning on the basis of arguments concerning representation in the Security Council. The argument that Seleya, as the largest region, with a population of almost one billion, does not have a representative on the Security Council is shrunken. However, in the eyes of Nowogard, the reform of the World Congress is also a priority, thanks to the diplomatic efforts of the Government of Valruzia, the General Assembly and then the Security Council are leaning towards a project to create the first specialized organization of the WC to combat the global problem of hunger and to help countries to develop appropriate agricultural policies. It is with these arguments that the government in Nowogard wants to persuade other countries to apply.

Image

In his appeal, Minister Vaughn-Rosta, on behalf of the government of Prime Minister Vinciguerra, addresses Minister Jenny Flow in order to obtain the support of the Likatonia, which would be tantamount to ending the Clovisport government's efforts to elect Liktaonia as a non-permanent SC. Minister refers to the history of the turbulent relationship between the two countries, but at the same time expresses his hopes, as well as those of the entire government, for the possibility of finding a common ground for cooperation in every field and for the possibility of a deeper interaction of so far isolated Liktaonia with SU structures, as well as extended access to the market of Valruzia, which remains the largest market on the continent.

NOWOGARD - The rivalry between the governments of Likatonia and Valruzia for a seat on the Security Council of the World Congress is clearly intensifying. Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Jan Vaughn-Rosta, who has recently become the main face of the government and on many occasions has replaced Prime Minister Vinciguerra, who has temporarily moved away from the center of national politics due to health problems, continues the government's campaign to elect Nowogard as a member of the Security Council. In recent months, it has become clear that there are three Indrala's favorites in the race for a seat on the Seleya Security Council, Valruzia, which has been actively campaigning for three years, and Likatonia, which only started to race with an active campaign in recent months. The Government of Valruzia is campaigning on the basis of arguments about regional representation, whose balance in the Security Council according to Nowogard is affected and one of Valruzia's main arguments is that continental Seleya with a population close to one billion is not represented in the Council. Indrala focuses on racial arguments and cites the fact that currently, the only country with a non-white population represented in the Council is Indrala. Likatonia, whose campaign plan according to the MFA of Valruzia was designed 10 minutes before its announcement, focuses on para-parliamentary arguments and in its demands mentions the dangerously far-reaching federalization of the entire World Congress and its representatives compare the General Assembly and the Security Council to the upper and lower houses of national parliaments.

Image

The government in Nowogard, represented by Deputy Prime Minister Vaughn-Rost, stresses that the "reforms" proposed by Likatonia reflect the current internal situation of the country, which is engulfed in internal political disputes, with a government with a clear lack of public support as well as a lack of a major center of power, and is desperately trying to hide the weakness of both the political and archaic economy. Vaughn-Rosta draws attention to the sudden interest of the government in Clovisport in the elections to the Security Council and recalls that the decision to conduct an "active" campaign was announced relatively recently, only a month and a few days ago. According to Vaughn-Rosta, this decision is neither in the internal interest of Likatonia itself nor in the interest of the whole continent. Vaughn-Rosta points out the lack of achievements of the Likatonian diplomacy and the lack of active involvement in international affairs, he contemptuously added that the only achievements that can be expected from Likatonia are division. "From the division of the church to the division of the World Congress," said Vaughn-Rosta, which was an obvious allusion to the clergy in Likatonia's inept attempts to divide the Hosian Church

Image

The representation of Valruzia in the World Congress is one of the most discussed topics in recent months. National media, political commentators ask themselves who will represent Valruzia in case of election to the Security Council. Even at the beginning of the campaign, it seemed obvious that it will be Jan Vaughn-Rosta who will become the government's permanent ambassador in Nowogard to the World Congress and the Security Council, but in recent months, both Prime Minister Vinciguerra and the Minister himself have been making it clear that Vaughn-Rosta is unlikely to be elected to Whale Island and will most likely replace Vinciguerre after the next parliamentary elections, replacing Vinciguerre after nearly twenty years of rule. When asked whether he is actually planning to take up the post of Prime Minister, he answers evasively, and when asked about representation in the WC, he answers that the Ministry is conducting research and assessing potential candidates for this position.

NOWOGARD - Valruzian Diplomacy, as well as Deputy Prime Minister Jan Vaughn-Rosta himself, can certainly count the past week as a very successful one, mainly due to the two new countries which decided to support Nowogard's candidacy for a seat on the World Security Council of the Congress. An agreement was reached between the governments of Valruzia, Alduria, and Baltusia to support the campaign and candidacy of Nowogard. With new votes, Valruzia takes the lead in the race for a seat on the Security Council. Yesterday evening, Foreign Minister Vaughn-Rosta paid an official visit to the Baltusia embassy in Nowogard to officially thank Ambassador Jorge Smith for his participation in the negotiations between the governments in Johnston and Nowogard. Following his visit, the Deputy Prime Minister announced that he plans to pay an official visit to Semailles and Johnston in the coming months to thank him for his support.

Political commentators stress that relations between Baltusia and Valruzia are among the most stable on the continent and trade is among the largest.Baltusia is Valruzia's most important trading partner among all the neighboring countries and accounts for nearly 10% of exports and 5% of imports, which translates into LOD 122 billion and 34 billion respectively. For many decades the Nowogard-Johnston tandem has been considered by many as the main driver of multi-area integration on the continent as well as the Seleyan Union binder. It is in the capitals of Valruzia and Baltusia that the Seleyan Union is located. Deputy Prime Minister Vaughn-Rosta stressed that one of Nowogard's priorities is to maintain relations between the two countries at the highest possible level and to introduce further conditions conducive to trade, cultural and social exchange. The Deputy Prime Minister also spoke in similar words about the relationship between Nowogard and Semailles, which can also be called exemplary. Two countries enjoy stable trade, a large percentage of which is in the automobile industry, and there is close cooperation in this sector, while Avignon, one of the largest car manufacturers in Alduria, belongs to Valruzian Automotive Group. The manufacturer's Aldurian cars are very popular in the north of the continent. MFA has announced further development of cooperation on many levels.

Image

The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs stressed that Valruzia will actively participate in the meetings of the Security Council and that it will monitor closely to ensure that international law is respected at all times. The MFA confirms that the situation in Dovani, climate change, and the comprehensive reform of the World Congress are among the key areas to which Valruzia will devote itself during its mandate in the SC.

NOWOGARD - In a short press release, the President of the Council of Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs announced the suspension of the campaign to elect Valruzia to the Security Council and announced that the government would focus on internal affairs and Seleyan affairs. The Prime Minister expressed concern about the vision of electing Likatonia to the Security Council, as Clovisport's policy in the eyes of the government manifests a highly dangerous revisionist policy incompatible with international law standards. The Prime Minister also expressed concerns about the credibility of the Security Council's decisions with a country like Likatonia as a member. The Prime Minister confirmed that the campaign is not being terminated but only suspended as the idea of the government in Nowogard is still to provide the people of Seley with representation in the Council but in the form of revisionists and reactionaries from Likatonia. Nowogard announced that despite it will not support Indira in the Council elections, it wishes Tian'an the best as the history of cooperation between Valruzia and Indrala in the World Congress shows that countries have a similar objective in terms of international security.

NOWOGARD - Prime Minister Jan Vaughn-Rosta (JVR) has announced the resumption of the government campaign to elect Valruzia to the World Congress Security Council. The decision to resume the campaign was announced by the JVR only 2 missions after its suspension and is the result of the consensus reached between the governments of Yingdala and Valruzia. In recent months, the Nowogard campaign seemed to be slowing down, and in the eyes of many, the decision to suspend the campaign was a withdrawal from the race for Seat C in the Council. However, as a result of the tensions that followed the proposal of Resolution 87 to condemn the Republican movement in Hutori and the strong protest of the government in Nowogard and the fierce exchange of views between the JVR and Tian'an's representative in the General Assembly, the mood began to lean in favor of Nowogard, and so the government in Tian'an decided to withdraw from the race and officially support the efforts of Nowogard, arguing that it was Valruzia's strong conviction to respect international law and the right to self-determination.

Image

The JVR noted that despite recent tensions between Tian'an and Nowogard and political differences, the two countries remain among the main proponents of the peaceful fight against threats to international security and the reform of the World Congress in order to better allocate resources to combat various threats to international security. The commitment to respect for sovereignty and the will to reform the WC in a way that will make it more effective is a central idea that guides the Valruzia government in its campaign.

Image

According to their rhetoric, the governments of Tian'an and Nowogard confirm that the vision of Likatonia in the SC, a country that only a few years ago went to something that no other country has done in the history of the WC and announced its withdrawal from its structures, making it clear to other member states that there is no respect for international structures and no respect for the fundamental norms of international law, the principle of 'pacta sunt servanda', is something unacceptable. In the eyes of Nowogard, the recent return of the government in Clovisport to the WC and the launch of a campaign based on the idiotic arguments of federalism and the supranationalism of the WC and SC is sufficient evidence of the unimaginable cynicism of a government of a country that is corrupt and has many shortcomings.
