Progressive International (PI) is a global movement of progressive political parties, organizations, and individuals dedicated to building a more just, equitable, and sustainable world. PI was established in 5284 by five progressive parties from around the world: the Beiteynuese People's Alliance, the Democratic Action and the Alternative from Dankuk, the Dundorf Social Democratic Party, and the Technocratic Union of Trigunia, and joined by more across Terra.

The organization was created in response to the growing geopolitical tensions and increasing inequality across Terra (the world), with a focus on promoting progressive policies and advocating for systemic change. PI is committed to working together to create a more equitable and sustainable world that works for everyone, regardless of race, gender, or socio-economic status.

PI's mission is to bring together progressive forces from around the world to share ideas, resources, and strategies for promoting progressive policies and addressing the most pressing challenges facing humanity today. The organization aims to provide a platform for progressive parties and organizations to collaborate on issues such as climate change, economic inequality, social justice, and human rights.

TREATY ESTABLISHING THE PROGRESSIVE INTERNATIONAL

PREAMBLE

We, the undersigned parties, declare our commitment to establishing a global organization that upholds the values of democracy, freedom, equality, and progress. Recognizing the need for international cooperation in the pursuit of social justice and environmental sustainability, we hereby establish the Progressive International as a global, transnational alliance of political parties, social movements, and civil society organizations. We believe that by working together, we can build a better world for all.

ARTICLE I: ORGANIZATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

Section 1 - Mission
The Progressive International is a global alliance of political parties, movements, organizations, and individuals dedicated to promoting democracy, freedom, equality, and progress worldwide. Its mission is to mobilize and organize progressive forces around the world to advance these values and to work towards a more just, peaceful, and sustainable world.

Section 2 - Vision
The Progressive International envisions a world where all people can live with dignity, security, and freedom, where human rights are respected, where democracy is strengthened and expanded, where economic, social, and environmental justice is achieved, and where peace and non-violence are the norm.

Section 3 - Foundational Principles
The Progressive International is founded on six principles that guide our work and our vision for the world:

1. Practicing Peace and Non-violence: The Progressive International is committed to the principles of peace and non-violence in all its activities and engagements. We believe that conflicts and disputes can and should be resolved through dialogue, negotiation, and peaceful means.
   
2. Strengthening Human Rights and Democracy: The Progressive International upholds the principles of human rights and democracy as fundamental to the establishment of a just and equitable society. We believe in the protection and promotion of civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights for all people, without discrimination or exclusion.
3. Promoting Equality and Equity: The Progressive International is committed to promoting equality and equity in all aspects of social, economic, and political life. We believe that all people are entitled to equal opportunities, access to resources, and protection under the law, regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or social status.
4. Protecting the Environment: The Progressive International recognizes the urgent need to protect the environment and combat climate change. We believe that a sustainable and just society can only be achieved through the protection of the natural world and the promotion of environmentally responsible policies and practices.
5. Pursuing Progress and Human Development: The Progressive International is dedicated to pursuing progress and human development through the advancement of education, science, technology, innovation, and creativity. We believe that sustainable and equitable economic development is essential to the well-being and dignity of all people.

ARTICLE II: MEMBERSHIP

Section 1 - Criteria of Membership

1. A party that professes left of center core values and progressive principles.
   
2. A party that aims to strengthen democracy and human rights in their country and abroad.
3. A party that acts in a peaceful and unreactionary manner, rejecting violence and extremism.
4. A party that believes in the Mission and Vision and follows the Foundational Principles of the Progressive International.
