Boris N. Miliukhov, First Secretary, Krasnyy Narodnyy Soyuz:

While there are lots of possibilities, Krasnyy Narodnyy Soyuz believes the Socialist and Democratic International is a great place to compare strategies for advancing a socialist agenda as well as compare priorities within the Metzist vision when only so much can feasibly be achieved. At any rate think there is much to discuss and hope we can begin to do so.

We will continue to be prepared to join with other socialists internationally to make our collective voices heard. Our focus for the time being will however be the same as other socialists - working on socialism in our own individual nation despite their being no world revolution. Admittedly, not Plan A for Metzism.

Citizen T.A. Vasilevskaya, Chair of People's Assembly, Federated Socialist Republic of Trigunia:

There has been some interest lately in forming a socialist international. Our thinking is that this organization was formed for that purpose and could serve that purpose well.

We would also suggest there is an issue we should address as socialists. There are threats to us. At a minimum we should be systematically alerting each other to them.

Emanuel Cosmescu, International Ambassador for Solidarity:
The primary objective for this organisation- in the view of our party- should be the organised effort to fill the World Congress Security Council with countries that have strong socialist principles and will act in support of international justice, freedom and human rights. Although this may not be easy it would empower the international movement for justice to act in a coordinated manner to deal with threats to socialism and protect the interests of socialist countries. If there were socialist countries on the Security Council, one cannot help thinking that the current Deltarian government would have faced some firmer opposition to their imperialist exploits.

In particular it is important that imperialist countries like Dorvik, Endralon, Istalia, Lourenne and the rest should not regain control of their seats. In certain situations it may be necessary to support non-ideal countries to prevent this from happening. Based on the current situation in each of the four seats, we would recommend that all socialist parties propose legislation voting for each of the following countries: Kundrati, Jakania, Kalistan and Trigunia.

Parviz Nassour, Representative of Āzādagī:
On behalf of the Aldegarian government, I would like to appeal for the support of the parties of this organisation in my country's campaign to win election to Seat C of the World Congress Security Council. At the moment the two leading countries- Valruzia and Likatonia- have both repeatedly shown their disdain for the organisation and the principles of mutual respect and international cooperation that it represents.

For this reason we feel that socialist and democratic parties ought to support Aldegar as the best placed challenger to these countries. Though we recognise the traditional commitment that Kalistan has shown to the international order (and particularly non-interference), they have shown little to no interest in the institution for decades and are behind our country in terms of the number of votes at the moment.

T.A. Vasilevskaya, People's Assembly Chair, Federal Socialist Republic of Trigunia:

We are aware some say they are forming a stronger socialist international. Great. seriously, wonderful news. Until they do we should continue to treat this as the Socialist International.

We are aware some say they have great plans for socialist unity and concerted action with a perfect but undisclosed socialist SC slate. Fantastic. Until they do we should continue to use this international to try and come up with a slate for SC. It does matter. The SC can have power if it wishes to abuse it.

Needless to say we thank our Trigunian comrades for their show of support. Like them we favour utilising the tools we have available in whatever manner possible. I believe it is reasonable to suggest that we should seek to develop better organisations and means of cooperation but we should not engage in useless idealism. Pragmatism and compromise are an essential part of advancing the cause of justice.
