Yeshua Shavit, Emergency Secretary-General of the MSCO, Homeland State of Beiteynu

It seems there are 3 AYEs from Deltaria, Jakania and Beiteynu.

We look forward to Badara, Vanuku and potentially Barmenistan if it is not deemed inactive.

Halia Mahdi, Permanent Representative to the MSCO, Jumhuriat al-Badara

We concur with the representative from Yishelem, and support this plan.

We would also like to bring forward a motion to amend the ERZs to include Deltaria, which has since re-joined.

With Barmenistan deemed inactive, we could consider this proposal to amend the core agreement of the MSCO as passed. We will leave this open in case a representative from Cildania wishes to step forward in the voting.

As there has been no objection or notice from Cildania, we will therefore consider this proposal to amend the core nature of the MSCO and it's accompanying international agreement passed by unanimous support from active member states.

We will revert with the next immediate steps, as soon as some technical issues with digital infrastructure are resolved.

In concluding our organisation's pivot to a new, non-interventionist framework, I hereby resign the post of the Emergency Secretary-General. I will continue to serve as Permanent Representative for Beiteynu and seek to strengthen the security of our continent in the northwest.

Although we are technically no longer in crisis and thus no Secretary-General is required, the Yeudi Homeland believes that, in order for the MSCO's newfound direction to take root, it is imperative that a new Secretary-General is appointed as soon as possible, to lead us towards that path.

For that reason, we wholeheartedly support Badara's re-ascension, should they wish to do so.

Foreign Minister Lucian Parvelescu, Veliko Carstvo Deltarije:

Veliko Carstvo Deltarije concurs with selecting a Secretary General. For two reasons.

We would like to raise again the possibility of keeping open the CMRF headquarters as a reporting point for security intelligence and communications with a view to being capable of activation as a command and control center should the need arise. Presumably it is currently slated to be disbanded along with the rest.

Second, this is a fairly major transition and we believe having someone with the authority in place to make minor adjustments as necessary will be helpful.

Halia Mahdi, Permanent Representative to the MSCO, Jumhuriat al-Badara

In light of the nominations from Beiteynu and Deltaria, the Republic of Badara formally selects Ambassador Ismail Tzafrir as our nominee for Secretary-General.

We hope that there will be a consensus on this, and hope our fellow Majatrans trust us to lead this organization once more.

Should our nation be supported for Secretary-General, our immediate goal will be to hold a summit in Bier Qassem to discuss the future of the MSCO, and draft and adopt a new founding charter to reflect changes in geopolitics, Majatra, trade, and all the things that have shifted since we member states ratified the original charter. An increased focus on trade, economic integration, and diplomatic ties will be the primary focus, alongside military readiness and a re-work of the Emergency Response Zones to ensure we do not have a repeat of the disastrous Hubris War.

As much as our government extends its good grace and friendship to our allies with Yishelem, this would not have even occurred had Beiteynuese ships stayed in their ERZ. Instead, their fleet responded to a Lourennaise provocation in the Sea of Lost Souls unilaterally, without consent from the MSCO. They did not contact the Secretary-General, nor petition Admiral el-Yamin to delegate a CMRF task force - one which could have included Beiteynuese ships. This egregious and flagrant violation of the founding charter of this institution proves that Majatra, and Terra, have grown past the original document and that we must draft a new, comprehensive framework for the MSCO if we wish for it to be an effective and viable institution in resolving conflict and promoting Majatran unity.

While we obviously would like to move past this ugly episode, and do not wish to cast aspersions on Yishelem nor punish them in the slightest, this needed to be said to point out one of the current critical flaws of the MSCO: its lack of cohesion, and its lack of enforcement of protocol and rules. Majatra must work together in the future, instead of each nation simply following their own agenda and using the MSCO as a tool and Majatran unity as an excuse to act in violation of international law and disrespect and dishonor the very institution they have weaponized to cudgel those who would dare oppose them.

We must restore faith and honor to the MSCO, return it to a neutral body capable of promoting peace and stability in our continent - and furthermore, hope that our fellow member states agree.

The Badaran representative's comments are not without merit. Beiteynu will adhere to the mandates that we have prepared and, of course, any mandates that Badara - and any other member state - may wish to introduce during their term as Secretary-General.

Let us begin with a new framework and a new future for the MSCO, away from any one's hands, even our own.

The Homeland stands ready to serve the direction led by Badara.

Ismail Tzafrir, Secretary-General of the MSCO

In light of recent Luthorian aggressions, meddling in Seleya in violation of the Treaty of Altatepec, the MSCO is issuing an alert to the eastern and northern ERZs - under the jurisdiction of Badara and Beiteynu - and a command to deploy our nuclear submarines alongside those of Beiteynu. I also call on all nations in the MSCO to aid in these operations.

We must make it clear to our friends in Yishelem, however, that any such support only extends as far as Majatra - if Beiteynu wishes to patrol international waters that is their business alone, not that of Majatra. If any escalation should occur, the MSCO will of course attempt to mediate, but we will only intervene when and if Luthori's hostility to Yishelem poses a threat to Majatra at large.

I would like to take this opportunity to condemn the actions of Luthori as well. One of the largest supporters of the Treaty of Altatepec and the withdrawal of foreign powers from Seleyan affairs - all of it was a ruse. Luthori only wanted Yishelem and Eroncourt out of Seleya so that they could rebuild their empire, it seems. Shame on them, and shame on anyone who would join them in this revanchist crusade to attain past glories - glories which relied on the slaughtering and oppression of much of the global population, might I add.

So I say to them: the only ones who dream of the world that came before, of the world that was your playground, is you.

You are alone.

We are not.
