While we recognise that some countries may have problems with the Majatran Economic Association and are certainly opening to reforming the structure and operation of the organisation, Deltaria is frankly offended by the attitude of the Istalian government and wholly opposes any attempt to modify the pharmaceutical proposal based on their so-called "demands".
Deltaria, Badara and the other eight members of this organisation have made the effort to commit to the project and there is no reason they should have to accommodate foreign nations in any way. Istalia is welcome to turn itself into a closed economy, cut off from the rest of the continent but they have to deal with the consequences of that if they choose to do so.
With two votes in favour and hearing none against, I am declaring the pharmaceutical proposal passed.
Now that pharmacy proposal has been passed, we will begin setting up network. We will be talking to individual nations of Majatra about possible interface. For various reasons this may take some time.
The Majatran Pharmaceutical Network is now operating in three Majatran nations as well as with several pharmaceutical producers and distributors of other Majatran nations wishing to sell their products outside their own borders. Purchases and sales are permitted by Ministries of Health, pharmacy product manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors as well as individual pharmacies. The operation seems to be viable although certainly over time it is hoped to be more widespread.
The attacks on More Medicaments Manufactures (3M) have not gone unnoticed. MPN has authorized Finance Minister Magdalena al-Jabbar of Jumhuriat al-Badara to approach the Boros Family financial organization on behalf of Al’Fostat Dispensing and MPN to see if it would like to sell off any divisions of 3M for cash on the barrelhead. The divisions we have in mind are plaque psoriasis, thyroid, cholesterol, and high blood pressure together with or without the customer account. The offer will not include buying any 3M owned pharmacies.
Although it is felt the timing is right for such any offer, it is generally believed the Boros interests want to leave 3M as it is for as long as they can.
The Majatran Republic of Kafuristan has formally appointed me to represent Kafuristan at the MEA; with that I have a question does the MPN possess a formalized treaty?
In response to the question of Seif Kassis, the Permanent Representative from Kafuristan, MPN is not part of a formal treaty. Here was the reasoning. 3M is a corporation authorized by the law of Endralon. Majatran Refining Corporation (MRC) is a corporation authorized by the law of Badara. MPN is a corporation authorized by the MEA. Nations do not make treaties with 3M or MRC so we did not think of a treaty with MPN.
Do recognize that in view of oil sale arrangements between the MEA and Yingdala and the MEA and Dorvik , ratifying a treaty might well be a more familiar way to deal with MEA business.
We would appreciate the thinking of the Representative of Kafuristan on this question which is certainly a good question.
MPN together with Al'Fostat Dispensing has purchased four divisions of 3M.

Just wondering if a free trade with another regional organization would be feasible.
