I've written A quick guide to Pontesian roleplaying to (hopefully) make Pontesi's history and culture more accessible to non-veteran and/or non-"Jelbosphere" players.

We have new protocols too! If anyone wants to come and play with me, you're welcome! :D We'll soon go to war, but it's nothing too complicated (the outcome is already determined: we'll get beaten and forced out of the war  ).

Looking for a Hosian, preferably democratic nation to go to with active RP. I usually play Hosian Democrats. Any takers?

Pontesi is a democracy, albeit it has its flaws. Our infamous duke is about to die, after which I intend to make it more of a liberal democracy under his niece. Always looking for serious players, it gets tiresome, being alone.

New Endralon is Hosian and we never really had Hosian Democrats would be good for a change.

Post-war Jelbania? Post-war Vanuku? Definitely is call for change in the first, might be some in the latter as well.

I could RP the Post War Military Occupation and ease that into a pseudo cartel influenced oligrachic society that's obsessed with "civilizing" the steppes

Interested players welcome to Aldegar. It's currently a constitutional Shahdom (but that can always change...) Leftwing or centrist parties preferred but the novelty of two right leaning parties competing for the same voters is also appealing.

My nation Mikuni-Hulstria now only has me left, the other party deactivated. It's been a Totalitarian state for quite a while under him, but when I turned up about a decade in-game ago he restored it to a democracy, albeit still a very aristocratic one. But now he's gone I'm going to change it to a full democracy, so it's the beginning of basically a whole new nation. The culture's an interesting mix of Hungarian and Japanesse, with Japanesse being the most emphasised of the two cultures. The language for example as the other player before leaving pointed out to me, "It is language I made up by turning German into Japanese characters and then turning it back into roman script. Japanese is still spoken though, as is German - but as an elite language like Latin."

But yeah, it seems a bit pointless reforming the system into a democracy if there's only one party and pretty bad for RP. It'd be absolutely great if anyone could join, doesn't matter if you're left, right or centre, I just need some opposition here xD The more the merrier.
