Should I just keep the name for now?

All of the moved Dankuk pages are extremely frustrating and there is no reason for these to have been done. I direct attention to the wiki move log: https://particracy.fandom.com/wiki/Special:Log/move

The Rowiet Union is a political title. Dankuk is still Dankuk. There doesn't need to be a mass Find/Replace of every mention of Dankuk with Rowiet. It's absurd.

Pages are not moved because republics rise and fall to kingdoms or whatever it may be. Redirects are one thing but these pages being moved create such a pain. I know this because of the mess I came to earlier this year when I started working heavily on the Dankuk wiki.

I've wanted to complain about what's going on the wiki but at this point I've given up.

Can there please be some kind of wiki admin intervention regarding Dankuk? Even if to just establish certain guidelines with moving or renaming pages.

Example 1 (https://particracy.fandom.com/wiki/Pres ... edirect=no)
The President of Dankuk page has been outright erased and moved to President of the Kyo CCR. There is zero reason for the original page to be erased or moved. This Kyo CCR position is a new and separate entity. It should've been a new page.

Example 2 (https://particracy.fandom.com/wiki/Gove ... on=history)
Government and politics of Dankuk has been moved to be Government and politics of the Rowiet Union. Clearly there is a strong desire to position the "Rowiet Union" as a distinct entity with its own categories, culture, pages, etc. yet the articles specific to Dankuk are moved and overwritten by Rowiet Union? It makes no sense.

Example 3 (https://particracy.fandom.com/wiki/Time ... on=history) and (https://particracy.fandom.com/wiki/Outl ... on=history)
The Timeline of Dranian History and Outline of Dankuk hav become the Timeline of Rowiet History and the Outline of the UCCR. Expanding off Example 2, Rowiet is being treated as some kind of new nation and there is a complete disregard for Cultural Protocols surrounding Dankuk. Name-wise, there is Dankuk, Dranland, and Drania. Renaming something like the Timeline or Outline articles is unacceptable. These are supposed to be generic, broad articles about Dankuk, defining historical periods and summarizing different key points about Dankuk. Now everything is just becoming hyper-specific to "Rowiet" and "UCCR."

Example 4 (https://particracy.fandom.com/wiki/Flag ... on=history)
This final example is just reiterating my point of everything "Dankuk" or "Drania" being erased in favor of "Rowiet" or "UCCR." There are still even more examples like this but I think the point is made.

Apologies for the late response, I'm going to review this and let you know.

Wiki moderation
Hello, I already talked about this on the discord server, but the wiki moderation team is mostly inactive, farsun being the only one active even to some extent as far as I know.

I think there's two possible solutions to this, either we move now to Miraheze and appoint new moderators there.

Or there is the option for remaining on wikia, and getting in touch with some of the former team to appoint new moderators to the wiki.

Speaking of this, they finally finished a move to Miraheze it was sometime around April thats the last "up to date" export of information.

Apologies. I'm going to see if I can get another data dump done within the next few days and get it updated to a more recent snapshot and then discuss with Chitin the going forward plan.

As a note I have made a request for the current Fandom data dump to be updated. This process usually takes a few days, once that is done I will be handing it off to be uploaded to the new wiki; that means from the point the dump from fandom is taken (which when it gets done, I'll try to remember to post here) any edits won't be uploaded to the new wiki.
