Political Opinion Changes

Postby Siggon Kristov » Thu Sep 27, 2012 2:14 pm

I thought political opinions never changed anymore. I notice some changes in Beluzia:

The "Centralization" scale was the only one of Vital importance.
The "Government Responsibilities" scale was not of Vital importance before.
The "Military" scale used to be of Small importance, and now it's of Tiny importance.

They change from time to time, at least that's what I've noticed.

That's what I thought when I just came to the game, but I never really saw change until now. Other players have also implied that they never change (they used this as criticism against the Rildanor Accord, and the NPI).

I've noticed, in newspaper history, that there has been a significant shift, over time, in the people's positions on most polled issues. The shift had been gradual.

The Glorious Vanguards of Al'Badara have shifted their wrong opinions on

GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES from BIG GOVERNMENT - VITAL to a reactionary DOMINANT

and have taken quite a jump in

MILITARY going from an AGGRESSIVE- SMALL to a blood-thirsty Zardic-dog crushing MODERATE

thankfully they've dropped in

CIVIL RIGHTS from a PERMISSIVE - MODERATE to a cowering SMALL

And they remain a proud and true CENTRALIZATION: UNITARISM - VITAL
What you aspire to as revolutionaries is a new master. You will get one. - Jacques Lacan
