For many others they have different titles, namely Selucia in the past, and a few others. Beluzia is a decent representation of what can happen when you think outside the box a little bit. Now, I am in no way saying that Dorvik is different and I can really careless, it's more about the history and the culture of the nation which dictates the current styles and titles for the leadership. I think it has to fit the country, for example I know Kalopia use to have a Doux and the like, very greek.
That is exactly my point. I think that some countries need the conventional titles, while others can afford to be a little more crazy - and still seem credible. Dranland having a head of state called the "Paramount Chief of the Drania" would simply sound stupid (but not in pre-Malagar Tukarali).

Zardugal also comes to mind, with the Director-General head of state title, I loved that. The Federation of Zardugal, that was a great change from the norm and while most people wouldn't agree it was an awesome title.

Director-General is a post-revolutionary French-sounding title, I think, although you may not agree. But I reckon that Zardugal, being Zardugal, is a bit of a none-too-exceptional country and should stick to the ordinary titles.

I'd love to see a corporate country:

The representatives/legislature would be separate from the cabinet/management
The HoS would chair the legislature.
The legislature would be called "The Board of Representatives" and the HoS would be the "Chairman"
The cabinet would be headed by the "Chief Executive Minister"

I'd also like to see a military dictatorship of the same structure; different titles, except that the HoS and HoG would be merged, unless the HoS is a ceremonial Generalissimo and the HoG is "Chief-of-Staff" or "Field Marshall"
The HoS would have to be ceremonial/hereditary, because having an elected HoS would cause others to question the use of "Generalissimo" as a title when the HoS changes from time to time.

woah woah...who said I was pissed!

If anything, I'd like to do away with it the boring titles.

I think EEL was referring to Zanz, saying the title "Senate Warden" was awkward and that Solentia could use more boring titles.

This was directed toward me, not you :)

And don't worry EEL, I was just explaining the titles, that's all. No hard feelings whatsoever.
