Honestly, I have no idea, I just went along with what I read and found.

Might want to consider bringing that to your cohort of players and seeing if they want to be more interesting.

That'd be a great addition to the cultural union of Artania.

Would that mean everything would have to be in Dundorfian? I would have to change the language and the titles as well?

I tried to make Vanuku an interesting federation. First with the name, Federatie van Verbonden Staten. Which could be translated as Federation of United States but I went with the word Banded, since it sounds awesome-o. Federation of Banded States. The HOS title was first President. Wasn't all too happy with that myself either and it became Governor-General, which someone suggested in that name thread. Few days ago I made HOG Prefect. So now HOS is Governor-General of the Federal States and HOG is Prefect of the Federal Council.

And with the culture, the remnants of a monarchy, fascism and boring-republic are still visible.

I have no problem with nations being a Republic. In fact, many nations in the game have been Republics for much of their history. The form of government or official titles don't make a nation interesting; it's the activity and quality of RP that do. The level of activity is poor at best and meaningful last RP seldom occurs. That, my friends, is the problem.
