Aren't the Dranianos more akin to Filipinos or Latin Americans, since they are a mix of Spanish peoples and the indigenous population of Dranland?

Fair point. Does anyone know more on this?

For my part I use a name generator that mixes Korean, Spanish and Welsh names together.

The Dranianos, like the Sécowonnais, have been on Dovani a very long time and will have intermixed a lot whether they admit it or not.

I had a look at the Filipino national anthem. It's OK, although I don't really like it that much, and I especially dislike how the last line is about dying.

I suspect a lot of national anthems contain references to dying, EEL :)

Yeah, but in the last line? Not a great way to end, hey?

I looked at Gibraltar's anthem. It's brief, but I like it.

I don't think there has been any further progress since the last post lol! :).

But if we're weeding out all the real world national anthems with references to religion or death/dying then we've probably narrowed the field down quite a bit...

How about we simply move from the North Korean national anthem (which we have now) to the South Korean one? Here are the lyrics:

Until that day when
Mt. Baekdu's worn away
and the East Sea's waters run dry,
God protect and preserve our country!

Roses of Sharon and Three thousand ri full
of splendid mountains and rivers;
Great Koreans, To the Great Korean way,
stay always true!

As the pine atop Namsan Peak stands firm,
unchanged through wind and frost,
as if wrapped in armour,
so shall our resilient spirit.

The Autumn skies are void and vast,
high and cloudless;
the bright moon is like our heart,
undivided and true.

With this spirit and this mind,
let us give all loyalty,
in suffering or in joy,
to the country's love.

There is one reference to God, but that could always be changed. We could also amend the place names to places in Dranland.
