It'd be interesting to have what would start out as a regional dispute spiral out of control into a world war.....i do believe we have one shaping up in Artania...

I'm starting to think that before we proceed with even a bare-bones international org, we ought to do more to establish bilateral relationships. How are we going to have viable international orgs even at the most basic level if we treat our neighbours as if we're all island nations?

Speak for yourself.

Artania has generally seen a good 4 or 5 countries in continuous dialogue for a long time now. Indeed, Artania has always had a good intra-national relationship, as I do believe is also the case for certain Majatran countries.

Obviously I'm not talking about every country - some of them have a very busy diplomatic scene - but the international relations aspect of the game has been limited to the occasional war and international summit. Even countries with strong international relationships with other countries have them only in treaty form, or because some OOC information bill says so; they are not really apparent in RP. (Again, this does not apply to everyone.)

I had to edit the post above to add a little " " because when I read it back, it looked a bit unjustly angry at you for no apparent reason.

Had to make sure people knew I was being light-hearted.

I'm trying to change that with Artania but no one will post in the meeting!

Well, you've got to rally up a bit of support before taking the plunge.

The one day I get to work on some new music and I'm being sent on a guilt trip because I'm not posting....fine, if it will get you to calm down, I'll post.
