That's nothing. In the real old days, we had to write our proposals on paper, mail it to Wouter, who'd then send us photographs of his computer screen (well, really his TV screen, since back then computers were just boxes you'd have to connect to your TV) where the new makeup of the country was outlined. And there were just two laws - one about traffic lights, and one about proposal quota.
Eines Tages traf Karl der Große eine alte Frau.
"Guten Tag, alte Frau", sagte Karl der Große.
"Guten Tag, Karl der Große", sagte die alte Frau.
Solche und ähnliche Geschichten erzählt man sich über die Leutseligkeit Karls des Großen.
