I'll give you a proper translation tomorrow, wont attempt that on mobile. I already spotted a few minor differences.

And I'll take Vanuku's Wrnukek dialect as my responsibility. If you search Armed Forces of Vanuku on the Wikia you will find some creative translations I did. The reasoning behind it is in the huge Jelbek dictionary bill I previously posted here or in another thread.

Alright, I got home from the night out and I'm a bit of a night owl so I did the translation. I also adapted the Dutch version of the anthem.

One note: Merulf would be Merlkai in Jelbék, he's an ancient Brmék warlord that pushed the Augustans out of modern day Vanuku and sort of united it for a while.

English translation:

As the Brmék was a poetic rather than direct literal translation (as some words from the Dutch don't exist and the syntax is fundamentally different) and the tweaks to the Dutch anthem haven't altered the meaning much, it still works alongside your revised lyrics.

Merulf and Merlkai are both bisyllabic so that's a straight swap. Otherwise, I defer entirely to your expertise on Modern Brmék and certainly can't tell you what to do with your nation!

Make whichever substitutions and corrections you see fit, perhaps even take some corrupted Dutch loanwords or make some new synonymous words to put in to make it more appropriate for your culture, clans and kin. After all, if it's an anthem, some of the words will have been around and well-known for generations, so the more Brmék flavour you put in, the more authentic it'll sound. I can give advice from an OHJ viewpoint but the last say should always be yours.
