So generally speaking is this game being worked upon to bring new features and stuff?

Short answer is NO. I think the reason why the game can't be updated is because the code is so fragile and if Wouter were to touch it, there is a chance the game could be wiped out. So unless you know a person who can write code and wouldn't mind maybe helping adding new features to the game, I'm afraid we're stuck.

I should mention there was a new version created called Partiacracy 2 that was in the Alpha stage. Sadly, the game servers have been down since 2009.

I am programmer and know other programmers but sadly I got zero experience on php and so do they.

Last i heard Wouter did want to develop the game but alas the cash supply is short and his time is needed elsewhere. So unless he wins the lottery or one of us is a secret millionaire i forsee the game staying the way it currently is.
