Question

So this isn't the first time I've witnessed this, but are the elections delayed? Sometimes, election results come between 30 minutes - 1 1/2 hours after the actual "election" is supposed to be held.

Just curious.

Yes, the elections are delayed a bit because the program is tallying up the votes. I've come to realize the amount of time it takes is dependent on the number of nations that are holding elections that month as well as the amount of parties within each nation. The more parties in a nation, the longer it will take to calculate the results.

I have seen them delayed for several IG months at times. Normally though it's only 30 minutes to an hour.

Sometimes there will be a bug that delays the elections for months and months.

If you are referring to the period this past summer where the entire game went out of Sync? Thats an anomaly I never experienced until that point. Wouter had to do some major work if I remember correctly to get the game back in sync. We just need to fix the Keymon map now...
