Well, I was adrift between nations, I made a short stop in Hulstria but it wasn't for me, the concept back then left no space for personal input or political opinions, basically you could only do what the Empress liked (it's great that he changed that now, kudos!) then I saw that Polites was in Selucia. I'm not sure if you remember the player in Selucia (Leonardo) but in previous RP he was always a nice guy, cooperative, friendly albeit with imperfect English. In Selucia though, damn. He immediately threw the nation on a bill lock down, refused to even discuss new Cultural Protocols, refused to address spelling errors in government titles, etc. It was the biggest uphill battle ever. He refused a lot, called us nation raiders, several insults, a lot of involvement from moderation. In the end we were like 4 or 5 other guys and we reformed Selucia into a Roman Republic.
I think what made it really fun was the uphill battle and the very varied RP, Aquinas was a militant feminist, Polites a big tent pagan, we had Akhenaten with his fascist pagans, Mikhail with his syndicalists, even Reddy with a conservative people's party for a while, me with a right-wing populist and patrician party. It was great fun, if you're ever bored you ought to read the last few pages of Selucia's newspaper.
Currently I'm looking for something new to do, I don't think the German-Japan is really for me. Vanuku isn't too exciting either at the moment since most of our traditional friends (Jelbania, Deltaria) are empty or full with nation wreckers.
