OOC: In Kalistan, we have taken to spelling Brethren as "Bretheren". Partly to signify a slightly different pronunciation, partly to signify that we don't necessarily adhere to the Hosian aspects of the Society, and are more like the IRL non-Xtian Quakers in FGC. That sect within a sect is currently developing in Kalistan, is closely tied to the SP, and now represents about 10K of Kalistanis, but I will be RPing visits around the world to make contact with other Brethren to begin converting them to the Kalistani variant of the Sect after my President is assassinated. Once I get a doctrine together, I'll see if it can't be included on the wikipage.

Incidentally. We have RPed the (re-) foundation of the Society of the Brethren in Kalistan, under the umbrella of the Brethren General Council (BGC) HQ'd in Kaliburg. We have noted that no country's CP lists the Brethren on it, so this is a niche that Kalistan has jumped into. I have, and can demonstrate written agreement from our other PC, who is OOC working on some housing matters.

Here is the RP of the basic Faith and Practice of the BGC. We've been working on this for IG over 15 years, and at recent count, the Brethren have over 200,000, a number which grows geometrically each year. I would also like it to leave the Hosian category- If there is a category where the curators of the religion page would put the equivalent of Unitarians, that's where the Brethren should also be put, but it is not explicitly Christian.

Just 1%, but they're mentioned.

Ah, yes, This is one we missed. I went through all the CPs, and guess I overlooked this one.

Maxington also hinted that there were some Brethren in Trigunia, and in the Battle UNseen RP, stated that they would be expelled to Kalistan- I assume that went through and Kalistan took in the Trigunian refugees, but I didn't see a news article about it after the RP, so I am not entirely sure what happened there.

Not sure where else to place it tbh. There isn't any PT equivalent of Unitarian Universalism as far as I know (incidentally, Eastern Hosians are both Unitarian, in that they believe that the Godhead is a single entity, and Universalist, as they believe in universal reconciliation, but they are not UU), and I don't want to create a separate category for a single and, for the moment, small religion. It also seems that RL Friends remain classified as a Protestant denomination.

Also, the page has no curators, anyone can edit that. Admins will make sure it's not vandalized or edited against policy, but if you have anything to add, feel free to do so.

Well, as a Quaker myself, I can vouch for the fact that not all Quakers are Christian or affirm anything in particular about Christ, and some Quakers are downright hostile at the suggestion that Friends are Christian (I know, for example, a Friend who was drummed out of her meeting because she kept insisting on bringing Christ-centric messages to the Meeting), and so it is incorrect to call Quakers "Protestant" because that suggests Protestant Christian. But given the logistical issues raised, you have a good point
you.

When Lucca gets back to me, we may do some editing. But right now, that information is REALLY archaic, and so at any rate, it will eventually need it.

Peace.
