OOC: In Kalistan, we have taken to spelling Brethren as "Bretheren". Partly to signify a slightly different pronunciation, partly to signify that we don't necessarily adhere to the Hosian aspects of the Society, and are more like the IRL non-Xtian Quakers in FGC. That sect within a sect is currently developing in Kalistan, is closely tied to the SP, and now represents about 10K of Kalistanis, but I will be RPing visits around the world to make contact with other Brethren to begin converting them to the Kalistani variant of the Sect after my President is assassinated. Once I get a doctrine together, I'll see if it can't be included on the wikipage.
Incidentally. We have RPed the (re-) foundation of the Society of the Brethren in Kalistan, under the umbrella of the Brethren General Council (BGC) HQ'd in Kaliburg. We have noted that no country's CP lists the Brethren on it, so this is a niche that Kalistan has jumped into. I have, and can demonstrate written agreement from our other PC, who is OOC working on some housing matters.
Here is the RP of the basic Faith and Practice of the BGC. We've been working on this for IG over 15 years, and at recent count, the Brethren have over 200,000, a number which grows geometrically each year. I would also like it to leave the Hosian category- If there is a category where the curators of the religion page would put the equivalent of Unitarians, that's where the Brethren should also be put, but it is not explicitly Christian.
