Oh, How about we see a sea of refugees heading north from Majatra into Artania?

Mabye we should explore the motives of Cildania, etc. a bit more.

A series of alliances might prove to be a more realistic causus belli for the countries involved, IMO.
I agree. Pontesi doesn't support slavery. We're against foreign intervention in Majatran affairs on the basis of human rights concerns (you could imagine the response if there were Aurorian Hosians being enslaved, however..).

Still, not much of a "World" War:

I'd like to get Beiteynu and Selucian on the trail as well as Zardugal, possibly Kafuria, Davostag, Luthori and a few more. Not everyone who participates needs to be directly involved in the fighting. In the last Great Majatran War, Felinist Barmenia (led by me) was a non-belligerent nation, but offered military support, access as well as volunteers for the Deltarian side.

A deltarian slave revolt could prompt genocide in deltaria, genocide will incite more revolts, then we call in the Trigunians and then events play out as previously mentioned

My main reason for wanting deltaria to fall in trigunia's sphere of influence after the war is it could create a cold war type world division based on the differnt sides of the war.

I like that, so kinda like an Iron Curtain is what you are trying to say? If so, that sounds like a really good idea. But If you want like a true Iron Curtain it should have been Northern Hemisphere vs Southern Hemisphere. Since most likely we can't have East vs West.

Itd be north vs south but TRIGUNIA is in the north and it looks like most of the nations that would be in their bloc would be in the south

Also as for the final peace, i still like the idea of an "iron curtain" situation but maybe if the war is sparked by slave revolts in deltaria ( slave revolts caused by genocide), and there is a second genocidal incident then the first callls for peace could begin then, not to be heeded of course until the reat of the war plays out, but then thw final peace would focus on the need to prevent future genocide.

On the post war world; if a Cold War is what we're aiming for, forget geography and ideology for reasons for it... Cold Wars are supposed to be about domination over your rivals... the sides of yhe War can just as easily forge sides of a Cold War even if only for reasons of unfinished business; in the case of Trigunia and Hutori it'll be a matter kf regional dominance and about revanchism should one of us decisively "win" the war.

Just coming across this- Kalistan would join, except we are in the process of reconstructing our navy and Airforce.

I do, however have the ability to send in a few brigades of highly trained Kalistani irregulars from SP's standing militia. Their role would be more or less auxiliary, blowing up bridges, doing morale reduction, committing terrorism. Kalistan would likely come in on the side of Trigunia, but it would be covert, because we are currently working with Hutori on acquiring a carrier, and will be selling oil to Hutori. Under no circumstances could I come in on the side of Vanuku, given our historical disagreements, and Indrala's moves at sea are concerning to Kalistan.

I'll keep an eye on the progress, then intervene if it seems reasonable.

As for Cildania's involvement, it has a good ideological reason for opposing the enslavement of Majatrans - Cildania is desparate to justify its occupation of Badara, and opposing Majatran enslavement would give them pretext to claim to be the defender of Majatran interests, just like Cobura.

Also, since Cildania sort of controls access to the Majatran Sea (occupation of Badara, informal alliance with Selucia), the Trigunian navy mightt have to duke it out with the Cildanian one before getting to Deltaria. Bear in mind though that Cildanian military is in a pretty sorry state, so Trigunia should have no problem defeating its navy.

We'll give it some time to develop. I'd like to get another nation in Seleya involved (perhaps Kalistan, pitting Doc against DocDunsmore in the battle of the PT PhDs?), which might give you an opportunity to engage in a bit of ground war, too. I'm not sure on who/what that might look like yet, but we'll see what crowd we get and decide there.

This is better that what I proposed. At sea, its a no go right now- I am rebuilding the Navy and doubt I will be done by the time the war breaks out. But If Gaduridos is down, we can RP an invasion in either Kalistan or Gaduridos, for control of the Sea Lanes around Ananto.

Unless there is a way to fasttrack Kalistan's navy... Then we can RP some spectacular naval Battles. One thing we can rerun in the Anantanese Ocean is the fast boat gammut- these LAFA crafts still exist in Kalistan's navy, and can harass Gaduridos naval operations around our coasts. And Kalistan would have a good lot of them, as they are simple to arm and launch- All you need is an outboard motor, a sea worthy craft, a fifty caliber machine gun mounted onto the ship and a three to fifteen person crew, and you can really tie a navy up.

That might actually be very fun.
