I'm not sure how serious this thread is but perhaps you have to take a moment and digest that Particracy is roleplay. Most of us don't even advocate our real political views within Particracy. At least I'm not a monarchist by any means, nor a fascist as far as I know. But by God is it fun to roleplay neo-Nazis.

Yeah I've played all over the political spectrum; centre-left Moderates, communists, Fascists, right wing Monarchists, hardcore left wing Republicans.. even a fundamentalist Movement

Same here; more often than not I find myself playing some form of theocratic party, and I'm not even mildly religious IRL. I've also covered pretty much the entire political spectrum myself, and I sometimes RPd genocides, police states, mass surveillance, and terrorist acts, none of which I would advocate for IRL (as far as I know). Understanding that not everyone RPs their own RL views will greatly help you with your peace of mind in this game.

As a long time Kalistani player,

I am constantly amazed at how people come to the country, all of a sudden claim that because we don't have cops (we have rarely if ever had them) and have legalized drugs (we have always had them), we suddenly have an epidemic of crime and drug addiction, and that our economy is all of a sudden in the toilet, without ever RPing a single thing. Therefore, we need to establish a police force, reduce liberties, outlaw drug use and privatize everything...

Oh- and that since Kalistan was a one-Party state for a long time and SPers were all of the bureaucrats due to lack of any other Parties, the SP was a corrupt operator who has long been channeling the national treasury into the pockets of its members. Either that or we are a communist, bolshevik dictatorship and the people have finally had enough of it!

Those refrain always warm the heart of the curator of the garden called Kalistan.

THS thread was something I did... Cause I can't remember, and I think it has something to do with being called a Authoritarian Fascist Radical Socialist who is ruining the economy (I agree with the former) players who are playing on the right normally come up with some really out there ideas about how economic, social, and political policy affects the nation: example, if you are to have welfare, you're going to raise taxes for everyone, when you don't need too, if you nationalise the Health Industry, well it's clear that it'll turn into shit, if you propose sensible reforms to marriage and abortion, well then faggoutry will run wild and everyone will become a Gay Edgy Feminie Communist, also may I add, I can't remember why this thread exists in the first place.

All of that post (and the behavior you describe from the parties on the right of you in Luthori) seems logical to me, when you consider that they are behaving In Character ("IC").

If these players were threatening you or posting comments on your personal ideology Out Of Character ("OOC"), you ought to involve Moderation, as we all have to be respectful of one another when we're not role-playing our parties' views.

Frankly, I think you'd get a bit bored if a party that called itself falangist didn't give your party grief for what it understandably sees as the destruction of all that is good. That's politics. They have a worldview, you have a worldview, they'll call you things, you'll call them things, and your parties will have to compromise to achieve any progress.

During my long stint in Hutori I was the sole Monarchist player for a long time. And as anyone can see looking at the Hutorian new thread I had no problems bashing both the Federalists and Liberals as no good Republican that were inept at running the government... that said I'm actually pretty good friends with both RIS and Mackin, the players of the parties respectively, and in fact I've done a lot of collaboration with RIS on the Hutorian military and RP with Mackin a lot.

But what about when it goes to absolutely and completely fabricating recent history by new players? For example (and forgive me, but Kalistan is all I know): A new Party starts up, argues that the economy is in shambles BECAUSE the Party he/she met there was a socialist Party, and claiming that the people have finally had enough and have demanded change... There was NO RP to this effect before the player got there. Its not just rhetoric: the Party is asserting that this was history and that a socialist Party was causing it, and there is a huge groundswell of support for a Party which has zero seats, because the socialist Party has been mismanaging the country for decades and has run the country into the ground. Or claiming that there is a huge movement to cause one of the Districts to secede when there has never been anything like that RPed ever. Don't they think such a communist dictatorship would have noted that effort in the recent past and wiped it out? Don't they think at least something on that would have been RPed recently?

That gets a bit obnoxious, especially when it clear that they have done absolutely nothing to read the nation's recent history, become familiar with any of its RP bills, or even so much as ask for any information about the country before jumping in and asserting an alternate history exists. They just come in and assert that the last several hundred years of political and social development never happened. That is not an ideology, but an an attempt at retcon. By a brand new player.

I feel everyone's pain in this sense. It happens far too often.
