I am currently working on bringing a little realism to Lourenne. Now when it comes to ethnicities in the wiki article there are several references to real-life cultures, among others:
• Cajun
• Mixtec (or Mixtec Mayan)
• Xinca
• Miskito
I found Orinco as the equivalent of Mayan in the RLE-Index. Does anyone know further relevant equivalents?

In terms of then no. The know the Mayan are apart of the overall Mashacara Culture that I'm trying to develop in Hutori, which is the general Term I use for the various indingeinous People's that inhabited Hutori prior to the Luthori settlers. The Mashacara themselves are based on all of the Mesoamericans Tribes like the various Tribes that inhabited Canada and the United States and even the Azteca are represented in the Althor tribe

In Kalistan, we have a group of folks which form part of our cultural quantum known as the Asali people. One of the original tribes in Kalistan, they are a mix of "Central European and Louisiana Creole." No doubt one of Pentalarc's inventions, given his ties with NOLA.

Asali From the Original Kalii Tribes Divided into :

Highlands Asali (80% German, 20% French)
Eastern Lowlands Asali (80% French 20% German)
Western Lowlands Asali (55% Louisiana Cajun French and Creole French, 25% Caribbean French Creole, 10% German 10% Spanish)

Cultural markers from the Asali comprise approximately 4% of Kalistan's cultural quantum. We are culturally open, so we count cultural quantum as the relative influence of these various cultures on modern Kalistani culture.
