Organizing an In-Character Debate

The point of this is not to debate merely to organize one so please, please do not do so here.

So two theistic in-game organizations (Hosian Democratic International and Reasonable Faith International) have been planning for a conference for a little while now. However, it has been tough trying to find someone to debate the atheistic/non-theistic viewpoint. I've contacted several members of the Atheist Ultimatum some of which were uninterested, some didn't respond and some fell through. We had two separate in-character debates planned the first was "Does God Exist?" and the second was "What is Religions Role in Politics?". Vesica has admirably offered his services as a moderator for the debate, I would be debating the first topic and Aquinas said he'd be willing to debate the second again both from the theistic perspective. So would anyone from the opposing viewpoint be willing to participate in an in-character debate on either of these two subjects? If you are interested in either one please respond here.

Thanks!

Hmm... my new party in New Endralon isn't an atheist party per se, but it is definitely secular, and being a centrist party it can possibly look less biased than more left-wing parties when arguing a secular view. I don't think my party would take a stand on "Does God Exist?," but it would be willing to debate "What is Religion's Role in Politics?" giving the short answer of "minimal."

Kalistan has always been vehemently secular and that is a view which I hold personally. As we're culturally open, too, there's nothing to prevent me saying that my President is atheist. Basically, I don't mind doing either section if you need somebody.

The debate format is below. If you guys still want to debate the subject just post your character's name. Oh and were do you guys think it should be held? I was thinking at Hutori's Jameson University but, I'd be open to suggestions.

This conference will feature two debates the first of which will be on the topic: “Does God Exist?” and the second will be on : “The Role of Religion in Government”. Both debates will have the following format.

Moderator’s Introduction: (Introduces the topic, debaters and rules/outline)

Opening Remarks: Side 1 then Side 2(Special Thanks, Outline of What you’re trying to prove, etcetera)

Opening Statement: Side 1 then Side 2 (Arguments for Your Case)

Rebuttal: Side 1 then Side 2 (An opportunity to dispute the validity of your opponent's arguments)

Response: Side 1 then Side 2 (An opportunity to respond to criticisms of arguments)

Concluding Statements: Side 1 then Side 2 (An opportunity to conclude)

Q&A: (Questions from the audience to be directed at one or both of the debaters)

Sorry about that. My personal life just sucks so much sometimes. Ioan Dragoș Lupei, leader of the Coaliție Unitate Centru of New Endralon/Kizenia, is willing to debate "The Role of Religion in Government."
