Can anyone offer help to a New guy?

Postby JasonoTheGreat » Wed Jun 14, 2017 5:46 pm

So sorry if this isn't the right place to post this but, here it its...

So I joined Particracy last week, it's pretty damn fun, I like the debates and simulated elections and the roleplay. But I have no idea how I make my party values change, I mean, I can't win seats without having a good platform, but I need to vote on bills to get my platform but I need seats for my votes to have an impact and be in parliament... I mean, two things have changed slightly but with that my confusion

All I ask, could you give a newbie some general advice for this game

Thank you :)

Trust nobody. Not even yourself.

Also, voting on bills will change your platform over time but it just won't have any effect in the actual voting. The more bills you vote on, the more visibility your views will have and the more likely you get seats if you have the right views that the people want to see

Meis is right, your votes will still increase your visibility even if you have no seats. For new players, its best to propose a large number of bills initially (or at least bills that contain a number of variables) so that you can increase your visibility quickly and get some seats in the legislature ;)

If I'm not mistaken, it is better for visibility to propose many small bills rather than putting lots of articles in one big bill.

Not necessarily better for visibility, but better for passage probability.
