What Language is Spoken in Pontesi?

I just relocated from Jelbek to Pontesi. What language is used there? Armenian or Roman?

I believe its Armenian with a Roman minority.

Hi! I've played in Pontesi back and forth since late 2011. TPPDJT is mostly right, historically there's the Arev Mardik (Armenians) and Selucians/Seluco-Pontesians (Latin/Romans) but also Pntek who speak the Jelbic language, which is a conlang specifically developed for Particracy that also exists in Barmenia, Vanuku and Jelbania and which you can read about here. There has also been an Indian minority though that's a quite recent mdevelopment. Pontesia doesn't have Cultural Protocols any longer as they were removed under now-gone rules that existed for a time that required their constant confirmation for no good reason, but I believe that these were the latest ones passed and could be interesting to read if you want to know more about the country's history.

Feel free to ask me any other questions (If you're reading old news posts in the Pontesian Enquirer, you'll notice I used to be known as SelucianCrusader before btw. ).

Thanks for the information. :) So the Culture Protocols are useless. Can I then use English names?

Yes you can. I'd even argue that there's an historically founded case for that - a "High Pntek" (Abuék Pntekai) culture. If you go really far back you see that a lot of the old monarchs etc had Victorian English name... ofc. the Roman/Selucian minority is pretty ancient as well..
