Yes, in fact most of them are fine, you seem to only pay attention to the two or three that got me into a mess.

Most of Pre-Game (anytime prior to 2000) is going to be largely forgotten outside of a few key nations that were the first nations played in. Most nations don't have fleshed out histories pre-game outside of some vague stuff. In the case of Hutori the only thing ironed out in stone is that it was founded by John Bekenial in the 1800s... that's pretty much it lol. Everything else I've slowly been fleshing out as an example

An excellent idea. I do share the concerns expressed by Mr God, Luis and others and would like to hear what would be proposed to protect existing canon and history. I also think this might require an exemption to the rule on character control since few if any current players created the history and lore of their nations. Another small issue is that pre-hisyory is well , pre- history, not just lacking in sources but guys pulling swords out of stones or islands rising out of the sea...in other a lot of fantasy so again, maybe some relaxation of the rules about fantasy might prove necessary.

I am neutral on this idea, nothing much to say tbh, did we not had history about nations on wiki?

I think this is a really interesting idea that would allow for development of countries that has historically been limited to the Wiki. In the original post, you say that role-play in this area would be "loosely canon". Does this mean it would basically be treated the same as most role-play is at the moment, i.e. it should be respected wherever possible but exceptions can be made? I think this would be the most reasonable approach. The only real query I have is how to deal with historic countries that do not line up with modern-day countries. For example who would be allowed to role-play within the historic Dundorfian Reich, just Dundorfian players or all those whose countries were under its control?
