The Kundrati War of Secession will be a civil war that will occur between 4785 and 4790. It will claim the lives of 11 million people and will result in the defeat of the Separatist side. It will be an uprising in the north-west of the country.

Background- After the elections 4784, a small group of conservative extremists have decided that they are tired of the current status quo. Kundrati has been led by leftist governments almost uninterrupted for over 200 years, with a few exceptions. This group is tired of this and decides a change is necessary. Throughout 4784, they rally up supporters and infiltrate members in the military. On the 5th of June, 4785, they declare themselves an independent nation. Due to their support, and the percentage of the army they control, they immediately hold Peghonai and Lirnak. They place their capital city in Riverford. They call themselves the Integralist Republic of Kundrati. The Integralist Republic has two leaders: Eladi Narribay and Goran Botica.

Forces- Due to their members within the military, the IRK controls about 2 fifths of it. The navy and airforce are more evenly split, with the KU having a very slight advantage.
The sides will be referred to as Kundrati Union-Unionists. IRK- Separatists.

Now the war itself:

4785- The war begins with the separatists advancing rapidly. Due to the confusion in the government, the Unionists suffer many early defeats. The separatists push deep into Celania and capture Galemia in less than 2 months. They also try to capture Kasaema to end the war, however, the Unionist army is able to stop 200 km from the capital. While the Separatists are focused on attacking the south and centre, the Unionists launch an offensive from the north, seeking to encircle Riverford. The Separatists, however, expected a move like this and they were prepared. They ambushed the Unionists, who suffered heavy casualties and push them back. By the end of 4785, the Unionists have lost most of Celania, and their capital is bombarded almost every night.

4786- The war is now in a stalemate. The Unionist side was finally able to stop the Separatist advance, but not without losing ground on all fronts. With the war in a stalemate, the Unionists plan a bold operation called Operation Sea Lion. The operation consists of a naval invasion of Penghonai. They hope that this will end the war. The operation commences on the 23rd of March, 4786. However, the Separatists already knew about the operation, and so, they were prepared. The operation was a massive failure. So big, in fact, that it allows the Separatists to push further into Pilgon. To prevent the capital from falling, the Unionists transfer it from Kasaema to Jildrati City. Due to his failure in Operation Sea Lion, the secretary of defence, Szalai Vilmos is heavily criticised and is warned that another failure will cost him his job. The Senate then gives the Consul emergency powers so that they can deal with the crisis. By September the north, south and west of Pligon, as well as the almost all of Celania have fallen to the Separatists. As the Separatists grow close to victory, Narribay and Botica begin to grow apart. They had only become allies so that they could overthrow the government. Now that they are so close to their goal, they begin to fight a lot more.

4787- The first few months of 4787 go with no real surprises. The Separatists push further in, taking all of Celania and most of Pligon. The internal fighting in the Integralist Republic has now escalated to a complete division of the nation. In May, Narribay decides that he has had enough. He takes half of the Separatist troops with him and founds the Kingdom of Kundrati in Celania. This turns the war into a 3-way Civil War. Unionists, Separatists and Royalists (Kingdom). This internal fighting gives the Unionists a chance to fight back. In the midst of the chaos, they push back into Pligon and Celania. They also start to the bombing of mayor Separatist and Royalist cities. Up north the fighting is vicious. Because the Separatist army split in two, there are equipment shortages everywhere in the north. Often the soldiers have to fight each other with their bare hands. These fights in the northern front from 4787 and until 4789 are the most violent of the entire war. The Unionists are now also able to gain control over the seas. By the end of the year, the Unionists were able to push back into both Celania and Pligon. They are also able to finally make up for their lost territory in Peghonai.

4788- At the beginning of 4788, the Unionist army completely changes their approach. With both of their rivals weakened due to their separation, they decide to try again with a naval invasion. Operation Seamoth. The operation will launch from the southern isles of Jildrath and will target Celania. The operation launches in May the 5th and it is a resounding success. The Royalists were too busy fighting the Separatists in the north and the Unionists in the south. What follows is the total collapse of the Kingdom of Kundrati. The Unionists push all the way to Galenia. There they capture Narribay. Narribay, eager to make Botica lose, joins the Unionists as an advisor. On the 7th of August, 4788, the Kingdom of Kundrati capitulates. A large portion of their troops decides to join the Union’s army, to fight the Separatists. The rest of 4788 consists of the large scale Separatists retreat. They give up most of Lirnak and a small portion of Penghonai. They then dig trenches where they make their stand. The vengeful Royalists that are now part of the Union disobey their orders and throw a massive attack against the trenches. Because of the fortified positions, the Separatists are able to contain the attack. The Royalists, still ill-equipped due to the recent Unionist victory are slaughtered. This attack is later known as Bloody November due to the sheer amount of casualties; over 500k. Most of them former Royalists. Bloody November makes the Unionist generals realize how well-fortified the trench system is. This makes them dig up their own trenches. As the war in the ground reaches yet another stalemate, the naval and aerial battles grow in intensity. The bombing of Separatist cities is very destructive, and most of the fatalities are civilians. Meanwhile, the naval war also grows in size. The much larger Unionist navy imposes a blockade, cutting off the Separatists from the rest of Terra. The Unionists constantly ambush Separatist fleets and destroy them, all thanks to Narribay’s knowledge on Botica’s methods.

4789
-In 4789, negotiations for peace begin. Both sides meet in the Endralonian city of Hugamest. Botica presents his demands. The Integralist Republic will be granted independence from the Union and will maintain control over Penghonai. The Consul rejects this proposal. Botica then says that if they are not granted independence, the war will not end. Both sides leave the negotiation table with Endralonian leaders concerned about peace in the region. As negotiations are cut short, the largest marine battle of the war takes place. The Battle of the Unholy Sea. During this battle, most of the Separatist fleet is destroyed and they. Although the Union wins the battle, it comes at the price of the life of Narribay, who was commanding the KUS Athol, the only ship the Unionists lose in the battle. The rest of 4789 is pretty uneventful, at least on the ground. The trenches that both sides built make it very hard to gain any ground. 4789 is also a turning point in the air battle. After years of deciphering, the Unionists are finally able to locate the Separatists airbases. They launch Operation Golden Eagle. The systematic bombing of every single base. This cripples the Separatists airforce, giving the Unionists the aerial superiority. Near the end of the year, there is a second meeting in Hugamest. However, this meeting ends in the same way as the last one. In December a terrorist attack takes place in Kasaema. The Consul was travelling in his car when a bomb went off near it. The Consul was unharmed, however, three members of the Consul’s security detail are killed. The attack is traced back to Botica, who denies any involvement. This attack makes a peaceful resolution to the armed conflict seem unlikely.

4790- This is the last year of the war. With the Separatists fleet and airforce now gone, Vilmos launches Operation Redemption. The operation is virtually the same as Sea Lion, which failed 4 years earlier. Vilmos hopes that with the Separatists fleet destroyed, they can succeed. The operation launches the 7th of February and it is a resounding success. The Separatists are now facing a two-front war. One from Lirnak and Pligon, and the other from their own beaches. Their trenches are finally abandoned after being ina stalemate for a year. Half of their troops are rushed to the beaches, but they are disorganised and they suffer many defeats before they are finally able to stop the Unionists invasion. The west isn’t much better. Because half of their forces are sent east, they are constantly pushed back. The Separatists are able to stop the advance being only 15 kilometres from Riverford. The city is constantly bombarded with artillery and airstrikes. Separatist soldiers are surrendering and defecting in the thousands and the population demands for a cease-fire now that the war is in the city. Small resistance groups form and attack Separatist barracks. Due to the military and social pressure, Botica is forced to capitulate on the 9th of August, 4790. The Unionist army marches into the city victorious.

Aftermath- The Treaty of Riverford is signed between the Consul and Botica and is overseen by members of the Artanian League. The treaty consists of the following: The Integralist Republic is dissolved immediately and the territories it holds go back into Kundrati’s control. Botica will be allowed to be governor of Penghonai and the province will have a high degree of autonomy, however, Penghonai will be forced to pay war reparations. The cost of said war reparations will be 100,000,000,000 KUN.
Endralon will provide aid to Kundrati who will depend heavily on them until 4800.

So. Some proposals.

a)As I said in Discord, the peace meetings should be in Hugamest, not in Maloselo. (Like the 1947 peace meetings was in Paris, not Lyon or other French cities.)
b) Endralon will of course send the most of its Armed Forces to the West, but it not want to participate in the war by economic reasons. We want to be a strong economy in next rankings, and I think a war wouldn't be good for it.
c) There is 3M and LTG facilities in Kundrati, so the PMCs of this two corporation maybe would fight for the Union, but mostly for the defending of the 3M-pharmacies, 3M-factories and 3M-hospitals and LTG-antennas, LTG-pubs etc
d) After the war, Endralon would give Trade Aid Packages to the Kundrati Union and would give help to rebuild the post-war country. Endralonian corporations, NGOs, and itself the Endralonian Government would work on the rebuilding together with the Kundrati Government.
