Building on this university-related stuff, I would like to consider the establishment of a group or network of elite universities throughout the world which would serve to share research and teaching methods, provide student exchange etc. For qualifying for this group, you'd expect a university to be in the top 100/150 in the world. For most countries this would probably mean only their top one or two universities would be eligible. Not really thought about details yet but wondering if anyone is interested?
