Updated country descriptions for Kurageri and Liore

Quick housekeeping in the forums

All Resources topics have been moved directly under Information, including the Nation Renaming Guide. All Guides have been moved under Academia. A new World Events > Media subforum was created and a few threads have been moved to that place (i.e. Informal News).

I'll be including the feeds from the Media subforum in the bot, in the near future, as well.

Offering some clarity to the transition period with interim moderators

Hello everyone.

Most of you are aware we have been trying to transition the state of the game rules and the moderation team to a new framework. You are also likely aware of the fact that both James and Louis have already been helping me out with admin tasks and requests since the beginning of last month.

As the transition includes sweeping changes, we've been consulting with Wouter Lievens in the background, as well. Thus, it takes time.

We'd like to avoid this sense of stalling in the transition dragging on, so:

1. James and Louis are appointed as interim moderators.
2. Louis will also remain in his capacity as RPC Lead - he'll follow-up with a related announcement on the RPC.
3. James will also remain a member of the RPC.
4. James will tackle the existing Game Rules, instead of the sweeping changes, to increase their clarity - he'll open up related feedback threads for players to chip in on the proposed updates for a minimum of 7 days. Players who wish to object should offer up a counter (in any form that's easier for them).
5. While both James and Louis will be able to issue warnings to players violating the Game Rules, final decisions on bans will remain with me.

To further balance out the "transition stasis" and help make the handling of requests more efficient:

1. Threads with the "RPC" indication will remain with the RPC on a maximum handling period of 24 hours; after that the request will be handled by James or Louis.
2. Threads with the "M" indication will be directly handled by James, Louis and me.
3. Threads with the "A" indication will only be handled by me.

To properly express the introduction of James and Louis as interim moderators, we have also updated the first post of the Game Rules, here.

We'll keep everyone posted on the transition generally, as we sync up with Wouter, as well.

Rolling back the RP Guides role

Hello all - after a dry run of the RP Guides role, we're rolling it back as both the community and the RPC are on a great level of coordination already.

The Roleplay Committee is happy to announce that Hepburn (thatfalloutfan101)will be joining the Roleplay Committee as a full member. We are continuing with our rotations of members for the time being.

We are announcing that Pragma will no longer be a part of the Roleplay Committee. The RPC, and myself personally, would like to thank her for her time, her dedication, and her expertise in the team. She was a great help during our organization process, especially with FBCs. Thank you, Pragma.

Proposed update to section 10 of the Game Rules

As previously announced by GreekIdiot, I have been tasked with leading the project of updating the Game Rules. In the first part of this project, the aim is to focus on three areas of the game in particular: cultural protocols, the forum-based countries, and second accounts.

The first proposed update covers section 10 of the Game Rules, which concerns the second accounts scheme. Before the change is implemented, there will 3 be a community feedback period that will last at least until the end of the day on 12 April 2024, and longer if required.
