Upcoming World Congress Security Council election

Please note the upcoming World Congress Security Council election will be held at midnight on 2 January 2024 (i.e the end of the day of 1 January). This is twenty-four hours later than the scheduled time. Due to the scheduled time falling on New Year's Eve, nobody from the Role-Play Committee would be available to count the votes. Apologies for the short notice but please let us know if there are problems.

Proposed updated population information

The Role-Play Committee has proposed updated population figures for every country. In this update, every country has received a population decrease. The proposed figures are not yet finalised and players are encouraged to share any feedback in the relevant thread.

Updated country descriptions for Bianjie, Kimlien, and Hanzen

The Role-Play Committee is updating the descriptions of the forum-based countries. For more information, please see the earlier announcement post: viewtopic.php?p=191143#p191143

As part of this project, the next countries we are updating are Bianjie, Kimlien, and Hanzen. In the future, we will be announcing these updated descriptions in groups of between two and four countries to make the process easier. Please see the relevant threads below for our proposals and to offer your feedback.

A quick look at the game rules

Based on this feedback thread (including others across the months) I have been preparing an update to the game rules that should be ready for community feedback in the coming days, so keep an eye out. There are no changes per se; the update is about removing vague expressions and improving the format.

While a moderation team restructure is also part of the update, that will remain TBD until we can sync up with the game's creator (Wouter).
