I wanted to leave it until someone else responded as I worried I was muddying the waters a bit and hoped another proposal would clarify things. Luckily, James provided such a proposal; I agree with everything he wrote.
I think my main issue stems from having advocated for the "Literature" subtopic in the first place: in any potential reorganization, I want the "Literature" subtopic to remain in largely the same form, with its specific theme/style of writing. I think "Academia" could/should be merged with "Literature" as the theme and general style of writing in those topics are similar. Thus, I specifically agree with the proposals toward this end from James.
The only thing I'm not sure about is the "Politics and Economics" section, as I'm not sure what would go into the "politics" subsection? Also, with how "Intergovernmental Organizations" are organized under the proposal, where would I put a non-governmental organization, or a humanitarian organization, or a lobbyist group (for examples)? Under "Politics?" Just curious...
