I know we have a couple of threads which touch on music but I thought it might be a pleasant distraction to have a thread where we each give a 'musical profile'. For example:

It's really difficult for me to choose just one...

Favourite song of all time: This one is really really difficult, but maybe... The winner takes it all?
Favourite artist of all time: Whitney Houston
Favourite classical piece of music: Carmina Burana
Favourite band: Imagine Dragons without any doubt, also La Oreja de Van Gogh, OneRepublic, Morat, Coldplay, Despistaos, El Canto del Loco and Clean Bandit. (omg I cant leave all those groups without mention them haha).
Favourite solo artist: Jess Glynne, Eli Lieb
Favourite 'old-school' artist (pre-1990): Bonnie Tyler
Recently discovered artists your into (needn't be new, just new to you): Marwan

Favourite artist of all time: Oasis (though either of the other two bands on this list could've been chosen for this)
Favourite album of all time: "The Smiths" by The Smiths (22:45-36:03 is the highlight if you're asking me)
Favourite classical piece of music: Leoš Janáček's String Quartet No. 2 "Intimate Letters"
Favourite band: Catfish and the Bottlemen
Favourite solo artist: Liam Gallagher (kinda cheating I know)
Favourite 'old-school' artist (pre-1990): The Smiths
Recently discovered artists you're into: Clean Cut Kid, The Amazons, Blossoms

Favorite 'old-school' artist (pre-1990): Meh, I don't have one that stands out. Have you heard of Mr. Conway Twitty?
Recently discovered artists your into (needn't be new, just new to you): Merkules, K'naan, Residente (and Hamilton is the bomb), and lots of country that I don't really like but my gf listens to anyway.

EDIT: I FORGOT Sturgill Simpson who I believe is exactly what country music needs to go back to being not sucky

What I'm generally into: Indie Rock and some Indie Pop. I also like quite a lot of pre-1990's stuff like the Beatles, the Smiths, the Who, the Police etc.

@jamescfm I absolutely love "this charming man", definitely one of my all time favourites I learnt it on the guitar.. it's such an amazing combination of vocals and skilful musical riffs.. Love it xD
