Mostly positive I suppose. A secular state in Turkey is a very big achievement.

With one speech he managed to make a country of his bitter enemies forgive and respect the Turks. Honestly, do you have any idea how hard it is to make people respect stupid greasy sleazy Turks, even if they aren't in the middle of fighting a war against them? The man truly had class.

I've been influenced quite heavily by Kemalist ideology so it's no surprise therefore that I think he was one of the greatest political leaders of the 20th century.
