Is that so? I don't think our left-wing parties would consider legalizing marijuana or euthanasia over here. Likewise, I don't think the Democratic Party of America - or the Conservative party of the UK for that matter - would consider treating school children as "customers" on a "welfare market" were public schools (and hospitals) are privatized, and compete for profit but are still driven entirely by vouchers, bur truly "private" ones are illegal. Which the Social Democratic party of Sweden, together with the Swedish centre-right, does.

"Left" and "right" are, of course, relative terms. But in reality - I think the people called "liberals" in America are the ones called "social democrats" or even "socialists" elsewhere. Likewise, a "social conservative" in my country means a socially conservative person who is "social" - i.e. more pro-big government and the welfare state than ordinary conservatives - not strictly someone who is pro-social conservatism but also pro-laissez faire market liberalism at all costs.

Now I strongly don't disagree. The Democrats in America are more right-leaning than many other left identified parties across the globe, I would go as far to say that there are even some TRUE Libertarians in the party (Not the Socialist ones, those are the fake ones). If you say what is true about most left parties opposing euthanasia then they are not left at all and the Social Democrats would be going against a clear progressive platform set out by Socialist International and the Progressive Alliance to which they are both a member of. I think your wishful thinking towards your left parties being Socially Conservative is a clear illusion.

I'm really not understanding your post because in the first paragraph you talk about how the Democratic Party is much like the British Conservatives but in your second you go on to say they are actually Socialists, what are you trying to say?

Passive euthanasia is legal in Sweden. Active euthanasia (assisted suicide) is not.

What I'm trying to get is that 'left' and 'right' are relative terms, our school system is probably to the right of the UK and our drug laws are to the right of the US, but at the same time our immigration policies are to the left both countries. For example.

My Ideology don't fit in such a simple place, because life is much more complicated. it is a random mixe of much everything

I vote Socialism. But I give my allegiance to

1 Communism
2 Liberalism
3 Ecologism
4 Pacifism
5 Feminist
6 Secularism
7 Human rights

And most importantly, I am very opposed to these ugly things
1 Malthusianism (I oppose Malthusianism, even more then I oppose Libertarianism or capitalism, I hate that ideology)
2 Libertarianism
3 Capitalism
4 Conservatism
5 Totalitarism
6 War
7 Anarchy Utopias

I dislike the words libertarian, since the word where hijacked by the right-wing, (because the anarcho-communism where the first to use the libertarian word to describe themselves) I just use liberal to describe myself. I do support gay mariage, Marijuana legalisation, and even more, in-siblings marriage should not be illegal for me, and should not be imposed birth control. women should have right to do what they want with their body, if you want to pierce your own sexual organs... feel free, those are your organs.

But Libertarianism, I oppose, just Like I oppose anarchy, I am more realist, And I just oppose capitalism

but Malthusianism, (which is believing the incompatibility between population growth and economic growth, with economic growth being more important the population growth. )
Exemple, : China. China is not Communism, but there is not question that China is neo-Malthusianist.
