Yup. Although, obviously, not in your essays. I think the economics lot tend to like straightforward answers. Just do your own research, don't take as gospel (as you might in arithmetic when told that 2 follows 1) that, for example, individuals are utility maximising actors, or whatever. Mind you, economics might be taught differently in Greece.

I can forecast your future ideological changes..
In the next two years you will become free market evangelist. And see free unbiased market and free competition as source of all good. As well as personal greediness as source of what makes world go around and everyone wealthy.
Next years depending on your level you would either move into agnostic state of myself (em, free market is kind of cool, but socialist ideas are ok as well, market has failures, state must intervene to extent) or move even further into free market religion.

Aha, I'm no commie! Yes, I'm a very big fan of the free market and I'm greedy, mean and selfish. Who wouldn't love the free market?
