Interesting video. Totally hypothetical though

Very futuristic but not very far from reality. After the voice commentator presented EPIC, it all went Hollywood to me.

But out of curiosity, what is, or would be, the point of collecting every little information about everyone only to sell a product? I mean jee, we need another George Orwell depicting the nightmares of a future purely consumerist society.
