You guys are or were on the easy years the past 4 years maximum. I have the hardest year ahead (11th grade, if I am correct, according to the West educational system), and everything will be judged by the end-of-the-year national exams. And hell no, I don't wish to become a politician. Maybe I wished it when I was 3 or something, but damn no way.

No way. Yours is the easiest year, it all gets harder here on in. I did 10 GCSEs and didn't revise for one, I had 5 A*, 1 A, 3 B and a C. A-levels were much harder, definitely harder than the first year of my degree, but it's not true that year 11 was the hardest educational year of my life. It's probably your hardest year up to this point though George. Do you go on to another school, or am I getting it wrong and you're in the last year before uni (which would be year 13 in Britain)?

This is my last year, national exams in the end and depending on how I write, I go to uni. So it's freaking hard, I personally have to achieve 20/20 out of all 7 subjects to go where I want to go. So...

You think? My economics one was really hard but the others were alright. Then again I did do a hell of a lot more work than the first year of my degree so that probably helped!

Hmm, yeah. Going on the classic p:w ratio (p - time spent in pub, w - work), both my A-level year and the first year of degree was about 3:1, but I more-or-less failed my A-levels and got a 2.1 in the first year. I actually revised for my A-level history resit, and got two marks less than the first time. On that basis, I concluded that either A-levels were harder, or my brain had adapted to the high levels of alcohol in my blood stream and worked better by the first year.
