I had too much to do to keep it going over this week, so I'm going to restart it tomorrow (post Fall orders tomorrow, Winter builds on Sunday).

Then could we have the resolution of Spring? I admit, it seemed pretty clear to me, but some of the others were wondering.

(This is just a general, empty Diplomacy map, which might be of some help in visualizing and planning. It doesn't show the current units, sorry.)

Well, I actually independently made something for reference in case Jethro continued not posting a map, so here goes...

Image

Although the orders for France have been sent and will not be changed, I reiterate my request for the deadline for Fall 2009 orders to be extended for 24 hours after Jethro posts his official map for Spring.

Edit: Looks like, like the others, this map is automatically cropped in HTML.

You can right-click to download or view the image individually, or if you prefer you can view the image directly on my webspace here.

Well, it seems this did in fact die... It's been over a week since the last post to it.

Is it worth bringing back to life? There are two possibilities: Starting up the unfinished game (which would require a new moderator; I could even do the job if someone else took France.) Or, alternately, we could begin again from the start.

It all depends on whether people remain interested, though. Is this worth trying?

Not sure. I am playing the game outside and it involves a lot of stabbing. And it requires people to understand this as a feature of the game and not go too personal. I am not sure if in this forum it can happen.
But if we decide to go for it, I am in. Why not? :)

Meh, I for one wouldn't (or should that be won't :P ?) take it that way.

We have three who'd give it a try, then... Or two, if I moderate.

Would those who are staying have a preference of whether to continue or restart?

I don't care if we restart or continue, but I'll join if there's a new one.
