Party Name and Nation: Socialist Party of Greater Hulstria
Real Name: Matt
Age: 20
General Location: Greater Boston
General Political Affiliation: Moderate
General Religious Affiliation: Christian, but still have yet to find the right denomination
Professional Goal/Current Occupation: Student at Community College (yeah, it sucks), hope to move onto BYU to study history
Favorite genre of music: Pretty much everything except rap
Hobbies: Nothing really except particracy
Level of School: Community College (again, it sucks)
NationStates Nation Name: It's been inactive for so long I can't remember it. I think it was something along the lines of Lincolnville.
Other information: I played particracy for about 6 months back in 2007, but for some reason I left until I accidentally came across it again a few weeks ago. Forgot how fun it was. I'm pretty boring, pretty plain, and, as many Hulstrian players are aware of by now, pretty stupid. That pretty much covers it.

As you have probably been told dozens of times: If you study and work hard, you will get there. Do you have any specific interests? You know, International Relations/Law or something like that.

International relations actually is one of the areas of law I'm interested in, and also areas along the lines of national security, which I saw somewhere. If not something like those, there's always constitutional law, but its not my first choice.

You know, this is kind of a new trend since the new millennium. More and more people are becoming interested in International Relations/Law and National Security. It would certainly be interesting to research the "why" behind it.

But I am glad to see more people are coming over to the dark side (aka. the government). I guess it's not so dark after all, is it?

Just guessing off the top of my head, I'd connect the interest in the fields with the expanding coverage of the media and higher awareness of foreign countries; but that's just a random guess.

You make a fair point. The media has certainly played a big role on it.

The BZÖ? The Bündnis für die Zukunft Österreichs? How come?

Party Name and Nation: New Capitalist Party, Second Union of Vanuku
Real Name: Zak
Age: 16
General Location: Somerset, the Armpit of America herself! Yes, that Somerset, the one that Flight 93 crashed in, and the Quecreek miners got trapped, yup, that's us.
General Political Affiliation: As an Objectivist, I believe strongly in the virtue of individualism, and I believe in liberty and freedom over security. No one American party lines up perfectly for me, but I do agree rather a lot with the Libertarian party, the Constitutional Party, and with very few republicans, such as Dr. Ron Paul, as pictured in my avatar.
General Religious Affiliation: Technically Anglican-Christian, but I prefer personal religion as a Christian.
Professional Goal/Current Occupation: I hope to be either a Public Health figure someday, or a Neurosurgeon, currently a student and landscaper. After college and majoring as either PolySci or Biology, I hope to get my M.D. and M.P.H. and hopefully my M.B.A. eventually.
Favorite genre of music: Depends really, I like a little bit of everything, even alternative rap, very little though.
Hobbies: Particracy, Being a Student (funny note about that, my school is built over old mineshafts! Fun Fun Fun!), Volunteering, Student Congress, Forensics, Political Activism, Running, Band, Orchestra, Swimming
Level of School: High School Student
NationStates Nation Name: Pfft, as if I remember.
Other Information: N/A

Ha, I had a feeling someone might question that.
When I look at the policies of the BZÖ, all them fall very close to my views; and like I said, except the euroskepticism.
Most of the controversy with the party comes from Jörg Haider having made some politically incorrect comparisons between things, that may have been true, but definitely stirred up some trouble. Haider was even spied on by paranoid Mossad agents.

But, the basic reasons I like the BZÖ and what they want for Austria: Flat Tax, Abolition of Inheritance Tax, Compulsory Pre-School, Compulsory German Lessons for Immigrants, Neutrality, Strict Asylum Laws, Tax Breaks on Childcare Costs, Support for Small Businesses, Increase of Direct Democracy, etc.
