Not really, but to be honest, I've seen much worse adaptions of novels into film.

I sympathize with my brother, who saw the movie at the same time, and told me he was sickened by the movie's equating "The Answer" with love. (When it's quite clearly six multiplied by nine, written in base 13.) Still, it's Hollywood. What do you expect?

I've never managed to see it. Now, thanks to that comment I will make sure I never see it.
