See prisons costs something, and a result I am sure you will notice, having lot of person in prison, cost a fortune, instead of thinking crime as only choice. we could invest in prevention of crime and redistribute wealth. Private prison, are just no a solution, as the mission opposed are just not compatible.

So you agree then that we shouldn't jail rapists, serial killers, drug dealers, thugs and arsonists because its wrong to lock up bad people? You obviously know nothing about why the homicide rate is so high in this country. Why don't you actually read up on why its high and then get back to me.

Western Europe only reports solved crimes, so there's could be 10x higher then the US but since some of those crimes are involved they aren't reported.

Where do you get that nonsense from? There are some pretty shady things that can be done with statistics, but no crime statistics in Europe (or the US for that matter) would leave out the unsolved cases.
