Somebody went to a network one day and said "Hey, I have an idea for a show. Let's set it in WW2, in a concentration camp. and let's make it funny.'
See what I mean ?
Yeah, but it worked. I just wish they had made shows about after the war: Klink, Burkhalter, and Hochshtetter work for Schultz at Schotzi Toy Company, things like that. Only problem is John Banner died in '73, so maybe a good thing they didn't.
