Right now I'm playing a really awesome mod for Medieval II Total War; if you've ever played Europa Barbarorum for RTW, give Europa Barbarorum 2 a try, they just released it and it's even better than the first. Also insanely detailed and well researched.

Did anyone else play Pharaoh? I found my old CD when cleaning my desk and I've been reliving my childhood. :D

I absolutely love this game. For City building sims, Pharaoh comes second only to simcity for me. :)

Same! Love the AGoT mod, I often play the Karstarks to become Starks and Wardens of the North or play the Starks, I made sure Tohrren won against the Conquerer.

Ah yes, nothing like beating the Targs during the Conquest. If I do that, I tend to invade the Sisters and take Beyond-the-Wall, the Starks being descended from Bael the Bard and all that.

I also enjoying playing as the Brackens or the Blackwoods scheming to take the Riverlands from the Hoares.

We should make a CK2 Particracy mod.

No I am not volunteering.

I really like Civ V, but for some reason, it gets kind of repetitive after a while, so I only occasionally play it anymore. Do you like Civ V?

Hail Stannis the mannis with the plannis, the first of His name, of House Baratheon, The King Who Cared, King of the Andels & the Firstmen, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm, Lord's Chosen and Azor Ahai Reborn!

But the night was dark and full of terror for the Lannisters eh? Very good. Same in my latest game! I aided Baratheon and Stark retake their lands and holdings as the Arryns of the Vale. Robin Arryn attacked the Lanisters who controlles the Westerlands and Riverlands. Then he died and Harrald Arryn (Harry the Heir) took over and became Lord Paramount of the Vale of Arryn and the Riverlands. He married an Arryn of Gultown so that I atleast could feel like a true Arryn, then I restored the Tully's to Riverrun. Ofcourse those dastertly Targs conquered Westeros and Danny ruled again as Queen.

She gave me shit and had me fight all her battles so the Starks and I declared ourselves independent! I became King of Mountain, Rivers and Vale!

I've been playing Urban Empire. It's great, but it can be a bit difficult.
I've done a few playthroughs; I've never actually completed a game (which should last 5 eras) because I end up being voted out of office in era 3 or 4.

You play as Mayor of a city. If you want to pass an edict, the council has to vote on it.
If you want to spend the council's money (the main money in the game), the council has to vote on it.
You can ask the council to set aside some money every month, for you to have as discretionary funds (called "Personal Funds" in the game). You don't need the council's approval to spend this, but your relations with the council will fall over time if this amount is high.

Navigating the politics of the council, with the different parties that appear and disappear over the eras, is pretty cool.

There is also a massive tech tree that I've never finished before. The tech tree is organised into eras, and I've never even completed research of all the techs in any single era, before. Techs unlock different buildings, edicts, and some little micro-effects (like some boost certain industries).
Check out my latest Particracy project, and feel free to discuss it in the forums.
