I've done a few playthroughs; I've never actually completed a game (which should last 5 eras) because I end up being voted out of office in era 3 or 4.

You play as Mayor of a city. If you want to pass an edict, the council has to vote on it.
If you want to spend the council's money (the main money in the game), the council has to vote on it.
You can ask the council to set aside some money every month, for you to have as discretionary funds (called "Personal Funds" in the game). You don't need the council's approval to spend this, but your relations with the council will fall over time if this amount is high.

Navigating the politics of the council, with the different parties that appear and disappear over the eras, is pretty cool.

There is also a massive tech tree that I've never finished before. The tech tree is organised into eras, and I've never even completed research of all the techs in any single era, before. Techs unlock different buildings, edicts, and some little micro-effects (like some boost certain industries).

I bought it on Steam but my RAM is too low (even though it is at minimum requirement level). So I wasted like £35. Not pretty.

It may be cliche, but I'm really looking forward to the release of the new COD.

I disapprove of catch-and-release...

Oh! Yeah...

Whip the Vote.

I enjoyed this. Not a brilliant game, and has some flaws, but fun to play for a while.

Anyone playing Heroes of the Storm?

Speaking of Blizzard, Starcraft and Starcraft: Brood War are now available for free since a month ago.

I love it too, though I've never actually pushed a game to the end

As embarrassing as it is to admit this, I'm currently on level 1015 of Cupcake Mania.
