Like many in the UK I joined in with the ginger-bashing when at school, laughing at the jokes and so on. Then when I grew my beard out I got a shock - a few stray red hairs. How did they get in there??? I pulled them out one by one, leaving my beard decimated with bald patches. But it was worth it to stamp out these atavistic red hairs. I have decided not to procreate so as not to spread the red haired genes that I am carrying, for the good of the human race.
